My sled, 2006? Not too sure but it's s Polaris Rmk trail 550, it a push button reverse when you reverse its suppose to almost shut off like and come back on into reverse, but sometimes it just shuts off. Any idea what the problem may be?

Does it idle fine? Or wiring issue maybe

There was service bulletin / issue with the injector oil leaking . I think it was the fittings . You can google it. Mark

+PowerModz There is no doubt though that what made your channel popular is the sled builds. Nothing wrong with branching out but don't forget about your bread and butter...I know there is some final Elan Restoration video just begging to be edited.

I was a bit harsh on my criticism i'm sure quite a few people enjoy the product reviews but there so frequent that i'd like to see the enticer! I have a few projects of my own and don't get me wrong i'm on the edge of too many i'm headed out to Waconia (If you've never been go next year an absolute blast) in 2 weeks from now and a buddy an I spent the last month preparing our sleds I got my 76 jag3000 340 (F/A) completely ready and at the begining of December we brought back to life a 97 indy 500 (Totally stuck bearings and now it runs like a champ!) I have an 1980 arctic cat kitty cat with a seat that I need to reupholster and i gotta check the bearings on my trailer. either way love the videos keep on riding and doing these awesome builds!

My 2013 Pro RMK has 120 PSI on both cylinders, and that is perfectly fine according to Polaris mechanics, so why is 120 PSI low on this old 340?

Never heard anyone say 120 is low in a sled. Seeing as he is used to Skidoo he might be used to higher numbers.

You left out cracks in boot between carb and engine. RTV silicone makes a decent temp fix, just coat it and its good.

I have used all kinds of RTV I have had it all fail within weeks on anything let alone intake boots.

Must have used bad stuff? I've used it on ditch banger sleds and it holds up fine for years for me.

+Stephen M If you are going to RTV that you best order new boots RTV will and does fail after a short time.

Anything goes, just fill in the points if it was an option here. Follow my driving path at the back, just get the penalty of crossing the grass and roll on :) hopefully that helps and of course remember to draft behind the others to gain speed.

Nice run. I had to go into the pit lane to do it. I'm also surprised to see a bit of a difference in that the Audi R8 was the #1 car until you passed him. In my races, another F430 was the #1 car until I passed hi just before the line. Cheers!

I am not into carg games but I really enjoy fixing things. It so happened that I have a friend whose downshifter had the similar problems. First the spring went (we fixed that), then some plastic part of the upshifter broke... fixed that too; and almost simultaneously both shifters started to missfire. Changing the time gap to 250m/s will work if your software allows for it but finally the buttons will stop working. We changed the buttons inside the wheel and working till today. Regards.

For rFactor, go to your .PLR and find line: Repeat Shifts="0" and try to change values to your liking. What it does is it "ignores" shift command until it have been (example) 100ms since last shifting, which should prevent faulty button to shift 3 gears down by itself. "1" would give you 100ms time gap, "2" 150ms, "3" 200ms, "4" 250ms, and using value "5" will prevent shifting again before the previous shift is completed. Hope it helps!

How ? Did you fix it. Same wheel, pretty much same problem. The downshifter 's glitchy. Sometimes it works just fine other times i can bang away at the downshifter nothing happens. Next race works just fine. And i am using it on a playstation so i doubt i can do much with drivers ? Its not a compatibility thing it worked fine for over a year ?

I have a problem with downshifter. If I turn the wheel to the right it works fine. If I turn it to the left it doesn't work !!??!! Ive tried the latest drivers but nothing happened. Windows 7 x64 Any ideas?

I had the same problem. Put the problem advanced and now both my paddle shifters are like that. Should I do something with the levers which click the buttons inside the wheel?

just open the wheel and bend the little metal plate that activates the button inside the wheel until its works properly.
