I've got two of these - in model fom, of course! One is a very old and slightly battered Corgi Toy, bought for my seventh birthday in 1969, and the not uncommon model is in blue and white and the back bone chassis and engine detach from the body. The retail window box used the have the two sections stowed seperately for added effect. I'm not sure if the real car has such a back bone chassis though. The other model is a red Polistil model in larger scale that used to belong to my uncle, and was bought on an early 70s holiday in Italy. As a child I always admired the working steering (actually very crude) and hinged engine covers revealing a detailed V8. It was given to me about ten years ago. Both models show a gull wing engine cover, while this '73 car looks to have a one piece cover.

Always a great looking car. The last time I saw one it had extended fender flares fore and aft filled with some pretty wide rubber and a tasteful rear spoiler. It looked great dancing thru the traffic on the LSD! Another great Italian design, thanks Jack!!

One of the first mid-engine super cars. Those gated shifter plates are cool. So back in the day you could choose your usual Marquis or this one. Decisions, decisions. Great Italian styling with reliable Detroit mill. :)
