@marondermyn You are right. In addition, the Vectra driver is not good (my colleague) and Vectra has a bad setup. From 80 km / h to 200 km / h Vectra is faster than my R36. Plans for Vectra are the AWD and twin sroll turbo . But it is true that the VB will never be "fast" car, because VB is a heavy weight. For example, empty Nexia with engine LET setting on 240 ps does not give me a chance to even in start. 0 to 100 km 4.8 s !!!. But the driver Nexia is excellence.

S tim ridicem, co v nem sedi zatim nema, musi se jeste hodne ucit jezdit s takowym wykonem na prednim nahonu. :-) Ma tam skoro 400 PS a 500 Nm, ale mema to jeste doladene. Ma strasne strmou charakteristiku motoru, także ted se pracuje na jejim vyrovnani, tim se rozsiri uzitecny zaber motoru v celem spektru otacek. Libi se mi na tom, ze je to delane s hlavou. Cely motor je kovanej, silnejsi poloosy, keramicka spojka, nova prevodovka, atd.

@fjutik Well, you're right Vectra B is "fat" car but also passat ain't lighter than opel. Also comparising Vectra with Nexia ain't fair, cause it's car one class down than vectra (nexia = kadett facelifted in Korea ;) ) so it's like you would comparise golf to passat ;) P.S. i doubt that P@ffcio isnt good driver :-) The problem is no traction since 2nd gear even on slick on dry. Too much torque for FWD ;-) Greets

wie dumm ihr alle seit für den scheiß r36 brauch ich keine 300ps da reichen 280 v6 ps und weg bin ich ihr lutscher habt vo nix ne ahnung der vectra war ja nicht mal aufgeladen aber typisch vw fahrer :D ick setz 5000 euro das ick den mit mein 3,0l v6 mit 280 ps stehen lasse

Auto było świeżo złożone (zbyt wysoka moc/moment v małym zakresie obrotów) i kierowca się dopiero docierał ;-). Jak by to był wyścig na 1000m, to by Vectra wygrała. Bardzo dużo zainwestowano w tą i500. Projekt opisany był na Vectra Unlimited i VKP.

@fjutik Hej, tak mi się wydawało, że jesteś naszym południowym sąsiadem :-) Natomiast nie sądziłem, że Paweł mając tak doinwestowaną Vectrę nie ogarnia startów :-) Pozdrawienia z Polski ! P.S. Ładny passat ;-)

@marondermyn Hehe, to możemy po polski :-). Niestety, znam Pawła kilak lat i ma (miał) zawszę problemy z szybkim ruszaniem, nawet przy V6. Może już na tym popracował, zobaczymy na następnym złocie VU :-)

@Cipry16 Indeed. And if you want a real comparison, put the R36 against the Insignia Opc/VXR. That would be fair. I'm not Opel fan or VW hater. I just like cars.

397 ps in a i500? haha stop lying.. thats 220 maybe.. more than 2200 hp in a FWD makes no sense because of no traction and power-transmission to the streets..

+Jimmy Nilsson Hammarlund They must have replaced the classical Ferrari flatplane crank with a crossplane crank ;) That's the reason of the sound change, probably.

+Damys They have surely changed the crankshaft... Ferrari engines always have a flatplane crankshaft, while a lot of other brands use a crossplane crankshaft on their engines (including several muscle cars as the Ford Mustang) This V8 totally doesn't sound as a Ferrari one and it's not the exhaust... check this watch?v=1r7Z_c5l1Fo....this is clearly a flatplane and you recognize it immediately despite the custom exhaust.

i think is the different exhaust .. ferrari use particular exhaust to have the classic ferrari sound . but i don't know if is this the reason

You are so right, does not sound like the typical flat crank Ferrari use at all wonder what they have done to it or from what model? Although I´m ok with that cause tuned American muscle makes my hair stand up any day.. The euro flat cranks and American muscle both sound amazing, it´s a mood thingy for me
