The car footage was shot with the Canon 7D with a Canon 24-105mm f/4 L lens. The interview shots when I'm not in the car are also shot with the 7D, but with the 85mm f/1.8 Canon lens. Some of the b-roll was shot with a Canon 60D using the same lenses.

just bought one, have a 7d with an 18-135mm on there and nothing else... if the arm is positioned off to the side, the entire camera tends to begin tilting/sliding...anyone else experience this?

im' not sure but i think freddiew has mounted video cameras heavier than an ordinary dslr on it - just proves how much weigh it could bear

This looks like a copied design from ChaseCam's Ultra Window mount that came out several years ago. chasecam.com/mounts/suction/SM41

could also be used for some great long exposure shots where you want only the surroundings around the moving subject to bleed :D

no worries about the shakiness, just use a warp stabilizer in post and it should still look pretty good XD
