I have been watching Fox News for over a year now. Tonight I turned the station to Mr. Mathews. I admired his genuine passion when asking Where are the jobs. I heard the strong stand for summer job program in Baltimore, like what Washington D.C. had. But after watching for an hour, I only heard one time about black on black crime. This was from from an interviewee. I did hear about the power of mothers in Baltimore, but only one time about the need for the father role. Mr. Mathews, look at DetroitOaklandChicago. Put Congress to the side as the magic bullet answer. Where is the rage regarding the regular bullets flying in DetroitOaklandChicago? where murder rates are the highest.... The mothers worry about violence from the police. I understand. What are the numbers of where the dangers are regarding everyday crime ? If I didn't profile, and walked late at night in DetroitOaklandChicagoWashingtonDC, the blacks would call me a naive white dude. I am going to have a more definsive profiling posture when facing a pit bull than a poodle. I was not born with this prejudice. In 1969 I went to a all black party. I remembered seeing the father there. He was needed, and not yet replaced by Mr. U.S. Welfare. I remembered the non violent songs of the Supremes. The guys at the party were concerned I would feel left out, and advised me to dance with this girl, or that girl. Yes Congress is needed, but in a way to enhance traditional family structure. Equally needed in the inner cities are the parents to fight for their rights in the home. The following is a funny idea, but the message is serious. Every parent should have their child wear a t-shirt with the following messages... If keeping it Real means talking with a fowl mouth, and destroying traditional family values, than I rather be less Real. On the back of the t-shirt, it could read... I have the courage to work hard and move to a picked white fence home in the suburbs....even when my 'best' friend calls me an Uncle Tom. Randy Jackson from American Idol, seems like a nice role model. His intentions might be good, but he uses three words that destroys the black youth. Those three words perpetuates the destructive fallout from the Hip Hop culture. Also, the clergy, without extra funding, could still show greater backbone by removing that horrible horrible message of those three words. Now if I say those three words, you are going to say, those 3 words are positive, like the way peanuts are nutritious. I say peanuts are deadly if one has a severe allergic reaction to them. The black community has a deadly reaction to the words Keep it Real. The message enslaves them. The clergy and parents need to tell the youth they have the legal right to not be so Real. In keeping it Real, being called a nerd is a worst sin than being called a criminal. Manson is very real and not a nerd. Keeping up with the keep it Real image means greater slavery to Manson Avenue consumerism. A rich white youth doesn't at the same level have to over compensate in keeping it real. He or she doesn't have to buy or steal that latest brand clothing and smartphone. . This religion of instant Keep it Real fashion, deprives black youths to invest in the future. Once blacks liberate themselves from Keep it Real slavery, then possibly there would be less abrasive words to the elderly, and greater kind words. Don't say only Congress can first break the black crime cycle. Because of crime, I avoid shopping in Mexico. This is not being prejudice. My guard is down shopping in a Mexican community in the U.S. This is where breaking the poverty cycle can stop. If the clergy and parents in Baltimore declared war on Keeping it Real culture slavery, and liberation takes place, then I would feel safe to shop in those riot streets of Baltimore. My input as a consumer there would help create jobs. If the Keep it Real in your face confrontation was removed, then the policeman's guard would also be down, which in turn would make the black youth less reacted.....and the violent cycle is broken. Don't be a slave to hip hop fashion and abrasive 'Real' culture. ....Free yourself from Madison Avenue. This is the message liberal media can give to Baltimore. It won't be perfect, but better.
