+frenchiedee lol then you must never do that again omg that's funny, my problem with listening is i am always trying to do way too much in my room and ten to tune out and have to back up and listen again, so if its really good it forces me to sit down and listen, or just get the darn book lol
Haven't been able to get into audiobooks just yet but will have to try. The last time I almost ran my car off the road trying to list to The Name of the Rose.lol!
The Kid is pretty raw and brutal. i am on cd number three and i had to put in a different audio book to get away from what was going on. I like that she is reading her own story. I never thought i would like listening to the audio but i am currently listening to Phylicia Rashad read the Terry McMillan book "Who asked You?" and she has such a smoothing sound and the story just fits perfectly. Definitely recommend that one.
Heyyy, Denise! I love reading in the morning too. Something about being
up early and going into a book first thing in the morning! Lol. I really,
really need to get my hands on a copy of Americanah. Hopefully I can get
it soon and discuss it with you the way you did. Now, now, now.
Audiobooks while painting! Why didn't anybody suggest that before? You
just put so many people on something!
Yes sir, i love early morning reading. And i am telling you listening to Sapphire The Kid is disturbing as all get out. Yet, i was moving so fast and trying to not let those images take over. But next time i listen to it i will start with a blank canvas and just feed off what the story is giving me. The creativity has a new voice and vision. You got to try Troi. And let me know how it goes.
