+L118sniperPRO No. It's dev's fault. The game is optimized for consoles, People tries to click the down arrow. Not using mouse scroll. The game is poorly optimized for pc. Elder Scrolls is not what it used to be.

Louis XVI was a man who was trying in vain to reform his country and make it a better place but was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Louis should have compromised in the fist place with the third estate and taxed the richest nobles

+Thomas Edwards But Louis himself was a nobleman, he believed himself to be superior to the peasants, even that appear in the movie, when the peasants forcing to go back to Paris, and two failed wars isn't a way to reform your country, and killing your citizens of hunger isn't also, the true is that Louis XVI was a very weak and incompetent king, he is the French version of Edward II or Henry VI.

+John Schmidt The problem that people still have don't a reason to doing so, when Wall Street and the politician really crash to country to the point of making him a third world nation, there it would be a real tragedy that would force people to change and change the system, never the less, two things can happen, one, that force the politician to make a more equal and less corrupt system, two, your country would fall in a fascist regime, and by seeing the news it seems that the seconds is beginning to be more true than the first.

I`m not too sure how good the History is in this movie, but the production values, especially costumes and sets, are superb. I don`t know where the Bastille scenes were filmed but they are especially good. Released at a time when movies like Bonarchuk`s Russian "War and Peace" and the same director`s American-British-Russian "Waterloo" were popular, this huge epic seems to be their French equivalent. Huge fun for history buffs.

+william wright If I am not mistaken, the French state paid this. In 1989 (exactly 200 years after the Revolution) So they were naturally interested in making a great portrayal of the event. I wish we had more movies like these ones, with over 10,000 extras, costumes, horses, etc. Of course it is not going to happen due to the costs and wide availability of CGI... but one can always dream.I specially like the attention to those tiny details that later become a symbol, like the King´s note on his journal the day the Bastille was stormed: "Rien" (nothing).

Is there a way now to remove/delete the closed captions from my video? Although I selected English, it keeps ignoring my transcript and uses the Automatic English so the words come out all jumbled.

+Flatx1 Probably for the same reason that I did -- out of frustration. I have subtitles/cc disabled by default on my config/options page and yet subtitles come on by default on almost every video I watch. I hate having to turn them off manually every time. I'd like to see a video showing how to permanently disable subittles because they are freaking annoying.

Even women were involved in this tragic event (referring to 6:25 min. and 8:29 min.), sad. What happened on Cyprus was also sad, dark pages of our common history, but let's hope it will never happen again.
