Thank you so much for enlightening people about bird mites and lice I had rescued a Canary and I lately discovered that my other birds are infected and the cages are infested with mites. I could not find any mites on the birds. No matter how much I clean they continue to shoe up.. How do I get rid of them ? There are no posts on Youtube that show how to get rid of mites (for little birds ie canaries) they are hyper sensetive to sprays. Appreciate your kind advise.

Lice have become immune to the over-the-counter RID and other products. Some bugs are also immune to Dr. prescribed products. Check the CDC and NHI (Center for Diease Control & National Health Institute) websites. However, they are not immune to natural products and cannot become immune to it. A flat iron will not get rid of lice because they primarily live and move on your scalp. From experience, a lot of mayonnaise applied to your hair and scalp, then covered with a shower cap and left overnight will kill lice. In the morning use a lice comb to remove all eggs. If you miss removing any eggs or sit in an untreated car, you will eventually need to be repeat the process. Check friends and relatives closely before allowing close contact. Some are in denial or unaware they have lice and continue to spread them and reinfest people. This was our first hand experience and why we kept getting them back. Best clue they have them is to watch for itching their heads often. Lice can only live 2 - 3 days on your clothes, furniture, stuffed animals, bedding and car interior. Eggs can survive longer unhatched and a few days more once hatched. Best to treat your car, furniture, and anything you can't wash & dry or bag up with (food grade only) diatomceous earth. It is a cheap, natural, & safe enough to eat. It penetrates the lice shell and their eggs and drying them out and causing death. Lice are pretty easy to be rid of compared to bed bugs and other pests. Just check heads often (especially visitors and children in school) and stay don't let them get the upper hand before taking action.

that is bug spray if you check the ingredients, I had this problem with lots hair and i did this for a week, alcohol first day kills all live bugs, then I put apple cider vienegear and with the comb they all started falling out for the whole eweek after leaving that in for 30 mins they would move to the shower ai would let them fall out and comb again and then rosemany lavender lemongrass essiantail oils in shampoo and tea tree oil in walmart i added extra and put in their hair every night they were lice free in 2 weeks \
