+John Doe Glad to hear you quit smoking. I did the same after many years. My knees are also getting bad...Not to the point of replacement hopefully for awhile but I have to really take care of them and lose weight and eat better. Best wishes for the surgery. Let us know how your progress goes. I am sure it will be for the best once you heal up.

+howlingmaddmurdock I had to postpone it for the 3rd time because of an infection on my shin from skin cancer removal. It took 22 stitches and after 3 months its still not completely healed. Anyway, this time it is a go....Jan 29th. I am just going to let go of control and get it done and hopefully live a fuller life. I even quit smoking after 40 plus years for this surgery.

I need a ACL surgery, I have this problem 2 years ago but I don't have any type of insurance and I wonder how much cost me for the surgery and physical therapy????
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Wu1zwb6LGs8/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAC6A/BG99TBL1Y-4/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Izzät Nadiri i live in El Paso tx.....what type of insurance u have?
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-m85vdre8yBo/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAVI/c_FE-sCIILY/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Jesus Garcia If you happen to live in Houston, I can give you the info of a really good surgeon. No problem :)
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Wu1zwb6LGs8/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAC6A/BG99TBL1Y-4/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Izzät Nadiri i also live in texas i need to get a good insurance too, thanks for the info man...
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-m85vdre8yBo/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAVI/c_FE-sCIILY/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Jesus Garcia Yes sir. With my insurance deductible was 3000. Honestly, if you get a surgery without insurance, it will cost you less, because hospitals tend to charge a lot more from insurance companies. However, it will still cost you 30k+. I live in Texas where prices are not too crazy, and even here it costed my insurance company more than 60000. PS. If you ever decide to get a surgery, make sure you pick tendon graft. It is much stronger.
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Wu1zwb6LGs8/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAC6A/BG99TBL1Y-4/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Izzät Nadiri did u pay deductible??
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-m85vdre8yBo/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAVI/c_FE-sCIILY/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Jesus Garcia I had mine this year. Insurance paid it but it was around 60k including therapy. So you better get the insurance.
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Wu1zwb6LGs8/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAC6A/BG99TBL1Y-4/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Abd El-Rahman El-Tawil Thx hope u recover too
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-24W9IobbELI/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAB8/fR6a8yIHrHc/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Jesus GarciaThat's very good, that should keep you protected until you go on with the surgery. Hopefully very soon, take care man :)
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Wu1zwb6LGs8/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAC6A/BG99TBL1Y-4/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Abd El-Rahman El-Tawil Iam doing good, a year ago I went to the doctor and he send me to physical therapy, it help me a lot, I can do everything the only problem is get into my knees and when i get up that's when I feel pain but I use a brace and help me very good
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-24W9IobbELI/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAB8/fR6a8yIHrHc/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Jesus GarciaIt's good. It has been 7.5 months since the injury and 5 months since the surgery. I hated going to the GYM for the rehabilitation program at first because i initially hate going to the GYM but step by step and after feeling the progress in my activities, i got used to it and started to like it. It's a life changer really in so many ways. My rehabilitation program will be longer than it supposed to be because i gotta lose like 10~15 kilos to get back to my normal weight but it's going alright. I don't want to rush it so i can enjoy playing football for the long run whenever i come back instead of just injuring myself again you know so hopefully, i will give it the time it needs to fully recover because i am no athlete. How about you though, how is it going with your activities? I know you miss playing, it has been 2 years for you and that's quite a long time but hey, it could have been worse you know. The most important thing for now is how to manage not to make more damage for you knee. I recommend you visit a doctor really and ask how to protect your knee from further damages until you go with the surgery.
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Wu1zwb6LGs8/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAC6A/BG99TBL1Y-4/photo.jpg?sz=64
Thx man, how u doing in ur recovery?
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-24W9IobbELI/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAB8/fR6a8yIHrHc/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Jesus GarciaYeah, sure. Everybody does but you gotta make sure to be ready for it both mentally and physically, man. Don't rush it, take it easy. It's more of a marathon really, not a race. So, wish you get well once and for all.
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Wu1zwb6LGs8/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAC6A/BG99TBL1Y-4/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Abd El-Rahman El-Tawil Thanks I want to get back to the field, I miss the games
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-24W9IobbELI/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAB8/fR6a8yIHrHc/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Jesus GarciaBest of luck either way. Hope you get well the soonest, don't neglect it though. Take care of it once and for all as soon as you get the money issue sorted out.
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Wu1zwb6LGs8/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAC6A/BG99TBL1Y-4/photo.jpg?sz=64

+Jesus Garcia I am from Egypt and made the surgery 5 months ago. The surgery costs here around 20,000 EGP and about 15,000 EGP for Rehabilitation. You can ask in your country though, can't you?!

+Sandeep Jangra You really should visit a doctor because nobody can tell you what is it that you have. You have to be checked by a doctor. Hopefully it will be nothing. Just visit a doctor the soonest in order to avoid any further issues.

Just got a ACL reconstruction today i'm 16 and im wondering if its normal that i cant feel anything from my thigh and down still it's been around 12 hours
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Ls7kRhy6K4Y/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAADY/Ya4t6eqa2BE/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Bboynayl Also drink alot of water. Those medications they give you don't fool around. They can cause constipation and damage your kidneys. So make sure you eat plenty and drink plenty if water. I'm currently trying to reduce taking my medications. They're too strong and make me a bit dizzy and lightheaded if i don't eat. But all aside good luck i hope you make a fast recovery same with me (:
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Ls7kRhy6K4Y/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAADY/Ya4t6eqa2BE/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Bboynayl yeah haha i found out the hard way. On the second day man you'll start to feel stuff more around your knee down possibly but your toes will still be numb tomorrow. You should feel better around the third day. The second day was like hell for me. Well it's been a week and two days now and i feel alot better i can move my leg a bit more and don't feel as much pain i can also lift it sort of. But anyways good luck on your second day.. It really does suck especially since you can't do much but lay down and feel uncomfortable. But good luck! P.S. Using the knee brace really does suck. I get the urge to bend my knee but i cant because the knee brace
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
should be normal I had mine done today and they told me the nerve block might last 12- 24 hrs or longer
