Hey Dianne .. you are so hard on yourself.. its all about practise practise practise.. you are making an amazing inspiring baby quilt... awesome!... I think you could cut away the 'boo boo's and reuse some of those fabrics too.. ! I'm enjoying watching your videos! They are inspiring me to go and make some tiny onesies and embroider on them.. I don't have a late model embroidery machine.. I have an older Brother Pacesetter.. it's awesome.. sewing and embroidery.. I love it!

Yes where can I get the pattern too iam working on a baby blanket and I want do embroidery and appliqué on my blanket what you think I sure do appliqué or embroidery let me know once I get the blanket start I let you all see it Diane can I do appliqué and embroidery with a blanket I see you use triangle can I just do it on a fabric I have a fabric and I want put a pattern on it use my HE-240 brother embroidery and appliqué machine

I thank you for you kind words, I know I am hard on myself, I like to create beautiful things. Check out the sewing stores on the floor models and get yourself to a sewing expo you can get a great deal on a pre-used machine. I love my Brother Inovis 2800D It dose everything my Berina 830 dose expect break all the time like my "Berina" Every time I turn around this machine breaks on me. And it wasn't cheap

I really luv those gingher scissors when quilting it makes life so much easier to go around your work. After seeing you quilting I had to go and take my Bernina 200E out. I no longer see to quilt that well but I am going to embroidery some towels for the kitchen. What is the name of your embroidery card? Thanks for the inspiration and I hope to see the finish product. What kind glue stick you use and spary you use I ask because I have a brother HE-240 And I have 3 other brother machine I know one is a sewing and quilting, and the other one is a just sewing machine and I forget what the other one do and I just got a new sewing machine from hsn today it is singer perfect finish sewing machine and serger it was $699.95 I just got today and I didn't set it up yet

Another note: when I do applique, especially if tiny parts, like those toes, I like to print up the "file" on cardstock, and then use it to cut the pieces BEFORE the embroidery. I use the same one over and over. That way you don't have to do all that risky, tricky cutting after you sew it. I sit in front of the tv and cut out the pieces. Just a thought. I am glad I am not the only one who messes up! I was so frustrated today trying to do some embroidery. It seems when I am almost done, it gets ruined. Anyhow, thanks for the tip on getting a fabric glue stick.

Ooo.. almost forgot.. you can get a fabric 'glue stick'... so you can cut out those 'wasted bits' of fabric.. and glue stick them on for the toes or somewhere... and reuse the material.. =]

One more thing for thread for the bobbin what color can I use if I doing like appliqué or embroidery or quilting what color thread can I just use white thread

all of those mistakes were fixable. i've had all of them happen. i love how you redo a design again exactly the same. that's the key to fixing mistakes.

BTW, will your machine trim jump stitches? That saves me a lot of work and it may save you some, too.
