I don't understand why there are so many avenues in the US for gum bleaching, but none for lip lightening for patients with ethnic skin. I get that it's dermatology, but still it baffles me that THIS procedure is apparently so common. It seems lip lightening is only available in Asian countries, but it would be huge here. It's a problem so common there are people who go so far as to have lip reduction SURGERY just to make the color uniform.
