Wolf you miss read me...I am married 24 years and I believe anyone who gets married loves each other. I recently went to a lesbian marriage of a friend and I do believe they love each other very much. As far as the gay marriage issue and having it recognized by the government...it is about benefits and privileges. Otherwise why would you want the government involved in your personal relationship? To change the churches mind, the publics oppinion, etc. I don't think so.

ahhh sorry heh you for gay marriage, just not the tax cuts and stuff? Sorry confused. What is the goverment doing involved anyway? In the world with it's population problems and no issue in the states with people not having kids/families what exactly does the tax cuts give? The tax benefits I think is really only a small part for most people, I think the issue is the other benfits, being able to be reconized, wills, hospital visits and such.

Don't worry about that. When you do a video challenging another’s beliefs is futile because they will only get defensive. I think focusing on the fact that same sex marriages exist and public policy has a negative impact on them is more productive. With that said you need to share common ground such as your love, children, inheritance, and property. Look up the 1138 and focus your message on how not having those impacts...

My position is to lay out what challenges/impact not having same sex marriage sanctioned by the government has on these couples. All these things primarily revolve arround inheritance and children, thats ok. But I think the common ground with hetros is exactly these issues.

For me, it's if I meet the right guy and lived in the US I would like to be able to make it official, tax benefits I wouldn't really care about it be the otehr things along with it. I live in Canada so not a issue, but still.

This is all BS. If you'd like to have a real discussion on marriage in our society and its impact aimed at families we can have a real discussion about our tax dollars and what it should support.

Yes, because marriage is only about money, and not about love, or caring. No just tax, which only recently has anything to do with it.

traditional marriage has more meaning in hindu culture than in Christian, though it is more like you describe, a business arrangement
