People dont understand that violence will not stop violence. Probably death or something would be the max for me for someone who has done something so horrifying, but for people who agrees with torture, their probably the same as those people convicted of such torture and probably has the potential to be another psycho on the street.

But I wouldn't want him/her tortured or doomed to death. My opinion is that killing and torturing is wrong no matter what. Of course, I wouldn't have any empathy for that person, but I wouldn't kill or torture him/her. I would've told the police and made sure he/she was sent to jail. If someone died or was tortured for me, no matter how horrible the crime was, I wouldn't be any happier. I know the best way (for me) would've been for the criminal to be sent to jail.
