How to sell broken lcd tv Videos

I'm guessing it's either the actual "screen element" has a short circuit or other damage (probably not repairable in that case) or a wire came off, ribbon cable damaged- probably something like that considering the fact that this happened when someone hit it-but if it hit the screen, the former is more likely, even though there's no actual crack in the screen

but what screwdriver do I use? it looks like a sunburst, not a regular flathead or cross :(

we have a Philips model number: 46PFL5505D/F7 that will not turn on, without warning. Plugged in, fuse has been replaced and have tried different outlet sources. Do you have any suggestions? Is it the power supply? Let me know if there are any common issues regarding this type of symptoms? Could you help? Thanks in advance.

Hello. Got here a Philips 40pfl5507h/12 when i power on stripe lines appear at the center for a few seconds then went blank as no picture. But have sound. What could be the problem. No picture but have sound. But it seems the backlight still functioning . I see a little change in lighting when changr channel. Please help. Thanks.

model RCA model: L42FHD37YX8 serial: I263CU00P So, TV was working pretty well fine. occasionally when powered on there would be audio, but no video. When i powered off and then back on it would work again just fine. Yesterday however, my son was watching tv and while it was on a thick horizontal line of the picture flashed black. Then the picture went away out from bottom right to top left but the audio continued to play.. Now when powered on, there is no image at all (not even input or menu) but the audio still works. I have checked, and the backlight is still working.. please help.. I have watched several of your vids and the best i can guess would be t-con. I just dont want to order parts if im way off or there are multiple issues,.. in other words, if it would be cheaper and easier to buy a new one... Thank you so much!!! [email protected]

I have a INSIGNIA NS-LDVD26Q-10A LCDTV/DVD Combo. Recently I would turn my tv on channel 2.1 and it would stay on then turn off, then turn on again. Then that started happening on other channels and more frequently. Today I turned my tv on and I get a "input is blocked!" message. I tried going to the tv menu, but when I get there it stays on picture (which is the first option) and will not move to any other options. Then it takes me to SW VER: and I'm stuck there. How can I unblock my input?

Hisense 50K360G Turns on with blank screen - No Logo, back display light is on screen indication. When powered on LED on bottom of tv flashes for a while. Looks like a pattern, I don't remember if this is normal turn on behavior or if it's some kind of code. I replaced the T-Con Board, bought it from shop jimmy :), but still no luck. What else could it be? Are there key voltages I can look at? What's recommended I check / replace? Thanks.

I have a 60" LG Plasma TV Model #60PC1D that has sound but the picture is distorted (i.e., Solarization). I did locate and replace a swollen capacitor on the main board, but it did not fix the problem. Do you have any suggestions on where I should start troubleshooting next.

I have a RCALA55RS with audio and back lights. Pops off every few seconds. The picture does not come on all the time, I think because it pops off and on so quickly. With what I have seen I need to replace the Tcon board. Please advise. Tina

Hello I have a Vizio VF552XVT SN LSPFXAL0700340 that I purchased from new and recently has become faulty. The problem started 6 months ago that the analog inputs were defective (VGA inputs, RCAs inputs), no signal Audio or video was coming put the screen. Some weeks ago digital also became faulty… only worked the tuner on local channels. Last week I turned on the TV and the screen lights up with no video or sound, Just a blue/black screen (seems LCD is on) I disconnected the TV 3 days ago from the wall and made a hard reset until today that I turned on the TV with the same results. Tried to enter the menu using the remote and side buttons but was not responding. I have to wait for about 5 minutes to turn it off (it won’t turn off immediately) – the TV doesn’t respond to any command. What do you suggest? Model Vizio VF552XVT SN LSPFXAL0700340

My 47" Vizio screen went black. Vizio Model #V047LFHDTV10A, Serial #LJPBNBJ2120707. I opened the back panel a found that two of the brown coil like capacitors (?) were fried. I went to your website to purchase a replacement but you did not have the replacement part in stock. Notwithstanding I found the replacement power supply from another source. The replcement part was an exact match based on the serial number. After replacing the power supply and reassembling the unit I turned on the TV and it worked for about a minute, than I heard a small crackle and pop and my screen went black. The power supply burnt out again. Please advise on a solution to this problem.

Have the same modern tv lg 42. Experienced a power surge n tv will not turn on. Red standby light starts nibbling after i try to power it on. I replaced power board n still doesn't turn on. What else can it be? Can it be something other than the Main board?
