I have Sweet Banana Hybrid Peppers and want to save the seeds. I also want to use the fruit. Can I take the seeds out of the pepper and dry them the same way on newspaper? Thanks..

how often would you recommend watering peppers after having planted the seeds? Do you need to water them everyday?

+emOouchettelette They should get pretty dry. The top will dry out first and lighten up. When that happens bottom water. Probably every 3-4 days before germination. But just keep an eye on them.

+Henry Waxman Nothing different than moist of your plants. Don't add in a lot of extra nitrogen as you will get more leaf growth than peppers.

 It might save you a day or two. But as long as you bottom water the starting mix and let saturate nicely at planting, there isn't much time difference.

Hi! I always have a problem with over watering. I started watering from the bottom, like you suggest, and do notice a difference. However, I think I am still watering too much. How often do you water your seedlings? Yours always look so healthy!

+Melanie Dragan You can but you can back a lot more in the oven. The key is not to make is so hot that the oil evaporates or they burn. 170 degress or less works well.

What you are not telling the people; is about to be curful when you tuch them, be curful, not to tuch your eyes or nose, or any part of your body. you have to rince your finguer in plain whater or put them into tomato for some time.

+Naieli Compean True. Cayennes dont bother me too touch much unless I rub my eyes. But if you dont want to risk it, gloves and an open window help. I do that for hotter peppers.
