i see no way to find out where the photo actually resides. After I home in on, edit and save a photo this software provides no info other than the name of the photo - it does not display the folder it's in which makes it almost useless. Also right click does not bring up a context menu which would allow copying the edited photo or saving it. For me the PHOTO part of HP Media Smart is about 1/3 of the way there. A good way to view a lot of material but that's about it.

@djorlando64 Hi I have mediasmart as well and i've been looking all over google for the default enhancement settings because my screen is all dark and it wont reset back to normal, s if you could give me the numbers all the categories are supposed to be on that would mean a lot. And by numbers I mean like this E.G Brightness: 48 Contrast: 74 Or something like that

Is there no way to take pictures from a webcam without using extra software? Sure, there are millions of apps for that, but i need a built in solution.

Better support no viruses and all windows software will work on linux... UPGRADE! dont support microsoft THERE TO FUCKING RICH!

I use my EEE box B202 in my car! No inverters needed, i just hook it directly to the car batery. It says 19V but i tested it and it actualy works greate on instable car voltage to :p For screen i use my 22" TFT screen wanting 12.0 volt 5 Amper. I solvet that one by adding 4 diodes in a series parallel to lower the voltage by around 1.3V, to get within the gestimated 15% of the wanted 12.0V Doing this may seriosly void your waranty!

@420bmxer NOt all software eworks on linux. Wine is ok. Cross over is great but O wait its for linux it must be free. Its not. Microsoft is rich cuz they have their shit straight and made stuff people wanted to buy. Yes there is viruses for linux just not as many. Reason for so many viruses on windows is more people use windows then linux. (I wonder why) /sarcasm

@420bmxer uh... ya that and that fact that microsoft is a business and the the linux kernel was something a college kid made? tbh i suprised its gotten as far as it has but no mainstream user will ever use linux nor will a gamer. with that said you clearly dont know linux unix nor bsd. @jhaytch when you start it up do you get to go to bios if so get a external harddrive and install the os on to it fromanother comp then hook it up to ur new comp then go to bios and make the bios boot up from the hard drive then run a scan for ur harddrive then install the os to it.

@har32 you have to compile those virues to effect your computer :P linux was born in the 90's and mircosoft was born in the 70's thats the reason why mircosoft has more power cuz its been here longer but when people start exploring linux they understand :P like me :)

@ComradeRama Nope, it's a piece of shit, you can't play Doom, mmm playing Age of Empires you can't see the video of the beginning and the colors are screwed up, in Age of Mythology u can't see the shadows of the map, etc. Maybe u play mario and think all works LOL

@ComradeRama Windows xp is kinda good too, since the games were prolly made with XP Or possible vista... and xp is less laggier on the interface... Windows is still great, for gaming, they did a horrible job on alot of things....... Just my opinion though

Well I my Xp laptop connection works with router and modem so that rules that out. This is something with windows7 as expected. No driver issues listed but something is fishy.

only one of my games works on windows 7 . very game unfriendly for your older games. iam sure though in the future all new games will run smooth as silk on windows 7.
