+Top Secret Iguana Thanks and 2.0 is the same it just looks a bit different. I use the last version before that upgrade. I personally don't like the new layout.

+McStride Industries Dont use that, it is an alpha and yes sucks shit. Go download the 1.8 version and you will be fine with this tut. That is the version I use

I need some help, when I open MCEdit, its in full screen, but its missing parts of the screen is if my screen is to small, I see that there is also a windowed mode but idk how to change it to that...

So, i F'ed up and managed to make an FTB world with no aluminum, and im trying to transfer my base to a different world Problem 1) I cant open my world... there is no problem 2 because i cant open my world, i select the world, press open, and it then opens the data inside the folder, instead of loading the world inside MCEdit (yes i have also tried opening a vanilla MC world but i have the same problem) *EDIT* So i found a workaround where i can manually put the world in the recent worlds section by going into the config and pasting in the string of folders. Time consuming and confusing but hey, it works

I know with each update more mods are recognized, so maybe one will work soon for ya. Sorry i couldn't help more.

Yeah I did, didn't really matter though, apparently McEdit and mod ID's dont work very well as nothing but my chests managed to stay the same block.

+tatertaterto Make sure you have the latest Dev build for McEdit. this may help. Even try the latest Alpha builds with caution.

Does the screen flash or the program not open up? if so, delete the mcedit u downloaded and get another one and this time dont open it on desktop

maybe you downloaded 64bit instead of 32bit or maybe you downloaded 32bit instead of 64bit or maybe you did downloaded it and extracted it but maybe you opened the thing and clicked the wrong file, like clicking the mcedit.exe or clicked the mcedit.io.
