Someone should make a homebrew application for the psp which allows you to copy, cut, and/ or paste files to and from the memory stick to any of the flashes (including flash0) from the psp so you could have the 176 xmb waves saved on your memory stick, and then copy the one you want to the flash0 and overwrite the current one all from the convenience of your psp on the go.

Today I purchased a Go for my son's birthday. I noticed it come's pre installed 6.32. I looked and looked and every frickin vid on here was a dud. I watched this and typed in google the name of the 2 folders. downloaded everything. Followed your instructions. I had no idea this thing only plays games from the download center at PSN. i don't know about the go, but it should, as i have a 1000 that uses wpa2 (not psk, but the other thing, though it gave psk as an option to choose). Also, i think for the remote play with the ps3 and psp uses that, so probably.

To keep game saves is very simple take them off of your psp go and if they are in a folder just drag the folder and make a new folder and name it what the old folder was named

I stopped trying to fix my psp after december of 07, now I'm trying to use this, but I get an error message saying the game could not get started.. IDK if my firmware is the problem though, my MAC address changed when a friend upgraded my psp after I downgraded it x.x I figured this would work regardless but that might not be the case x.x HELP PLEASE, I wanna start playing T-T

my psp wont work on any games, not even firmware installers... I downgraded it to version 5.00, then after that, nothing works, not even the version installer itself. Anytime I open up an installer, it says "Cannot open, data corrupted" and all the games are missing, but they're still in the ISO folder... Help please

I has 6.39 HEN TN-A Temporary CFW on PSP Slim/3000. I dont have full custom firmware though, and right now I dont have interest in getting full CFW. To uninstall CFW, why not just download PSP OFW 6.39 or whatever version?

I got a problem, I did all the steps and I got to the big OK but when I hit X it didnt do anything and it just shut off on me. Then when I try to start it back on, theres the green light but nothing on the screen.

Used this and didn't realize it wasn't for 5.00 m-33. It did seem to work though, got to the big OK and I pressed X but nothing happened so I ended up taking out the battery to turn it off and now it's bricked.

If you have a CFW and want to get rid of it just get the 5.5 GEN D installer, that will remove the CFW and put it to 5.5 OFW... works on ALL psp's >_> uploader you should really update your vid...

I follow it all correctly until I try and move the UPDATE folder into the GAME folder, and it says the file cannot be moved with all of it's properties, therefore it doesn't work. Any ideas??

@Thomgrim You Must go to VSH Menu by pressing select and in USB Device choose flash0 and connect your psp using a usb cord find the version.txt in folders and open change 9.90 to 5.50 :)

I guess since the description here says Lightspeed final ME CFW that it really is going to be the final ME version now? Although it's bad news for ME users that it's not going to be updated no more it could be great news for PRO users as CB & VF could use his CFW expertise even more on PRO now making that perfected as well as if you didn't know already he does stuff for PRO as well so he can do more stuff for them now he has some free dev time he used to share towards both ME and PRO.

Am currently using a PSP1001 5.50 Prom-4. Some games are fine for me, but others don't work. Before I change to 6.60ME, is there any possibility that the games that function on my prom4 might not work with this CFW (and, though unlikely, is there a chance my savefiles will have issues as well?) First of all , I switched to many kinds of CFW's like 5.50 , 3.00 6.20 , 6.35 , PRO AND ME and many more...and I havent have any issues with it. About the save files , it will ok. It will be gone IF YOU MESS OR DELETE it. Differences for LME anf ME is that ME is for psp 1000 and 2000 and psp 3000 and go for LME. Because PSP 3000 and go doesnt support pemanent CFW (not permanent as in forever)

Hey, ever since I upgraded my psp from 5.00m33 to the pro/me firmwares I have been experiencing in game cut scene lags as well as long in game loading times. Do you know anyway to fix this or should I just downgrade my psp back to 5.00m33. My currently have 6.60 ME-1.8

It's possible to have a permanent CFW on PSP 3000. My PSP 3000 is on 6.20 Pro B10. I used a permanent patch :)

i can use it now only for modding. and i was prepared for it. i bought a new one for gaming before i started messing with the original one. Now i hacked my psp and use the second battery for gaming and the first one is in my drawer and i don't use it anymore it's now only if i brick my psp.

No, if you don't have CFW, you can't do this. Says in description. Opening up the battery is the only way of doing it unless someone else has a PSP with CFW. I also modded my PSP a few days ago by modding my PSP to 5.00 M33-6 with taking the battery apart. Lol.

This is probably the best guide ever for making a pandora... all those bs methods of opening up ur battery and using lead pencil is way more risky than just installing a simple app and converting it within your psp. Thank you for sharing this video with us. =]

Not really, those with the original slim motherboard (TA-085) can use this app. Though I agree most people cant softmod their battery's today. But if you don't want to hard mod you could just use a p.b. switcher.

@fernandevera it depends on what motherboard your PSP have. This only works on a TA-085v1, which have been discontinued on Jan 2008. It is very likely that you have the TA-085v2 or TA-088 motherboard.

@firenxfrezze It can't . The 88v3 is the most secure motherboard. You'll have to use partial HEN and then use Prometheus iso loader for cfw.

i got a psp fat with cfw 5.00m33-3 and i changed some settings in the advanced configiation like plain modules in umd/iso and execute boot.bin in umd/iso and now when i go onto the usb connection it say you are on the wrong path when i get ctf themes or anything else like gams and music so what shall the advanced configeraton settings be enabled or disbled please help !!

Are you sure you even have custom firmware installed on your psp. Based on you saying you have 4.21 firmware you probably have a new psp 3000 model so far there is no custom firmware for the 3000 model there is a tif exploit to run home brew that just came out google psp hacks you can check your model by looking under the battery should say something like psp-xxxx

i got a problem here. when i start my psp it will straight went to the gen recovery menu just don't know why? i tried alot of way and really unable to fix it. could you kindly teach me how to fix it? im using psp gen-d3 now. kindly email me at [email protected]. thank you!! oh ya mine is psp fat

I am not sure don't think so though as far as I no chikhen is for the new slim 3000 and 2000 models and uses a tiff exploit to run cfw firmware since no one has found a way to flash cfw to the psp internal flash of newer psp systems yet

still aint work,why is that so??does it really need to have a Pandora battery for you to be able to access recovery mode??...ive got a cfw 5.03 m33-6..help thanks ^^

hey can u help me i have cfw but i can't open recovery menu mine is 5.51 M33-LuckyGame is tis custom menu? and if yes why can't i open recovery mennu plss help

make sure the psp is fully powered down hold the power switch till it's completely off about 5-8 seconds then power up holding R trigger
