+Lexi Ryan hahaha .Well i believe its not something so difficult that i need to take money for.for example when i decided to take classes last year in campus I only took 50 rupees from each student which is less than a dollar ( that was just for commitment purposes cuz when you pay for something you become more serious.but still i believe if someone is ready to learn something, its always good to help them and money is not always the case.and moreover teaching Hindi has helped me a lot become even more fluent and efficient in the language. :P

Hmm, the words for "seven" and "sixty" really sound a lot like one another. Any tip for someone with foreign pronounciation / heavy dialect (i.e. me) how to keep these separate?

+Johan Rydén Try this:When you pronounce a hard t lower tip of tongue hits the upper teeth, with a soft t you have to extend your tongue so that the upper tip of your tongue hits the upper teeth. Hope this helps.

Seven is Saat with a soft 't' like the French trois(3) while sixty is Shaath with a aspirated hard t like the t in fat.

WTF? some of these numbers look and sound like my mother tongue. (1). Ek/un, (2) Do/Dau, (3) Tiin/Tri, (4) Chaar/pedwar, (5) Paanch/pump, (6) Che/Chwech, (7) Saat/Saith, (8) Aath/Wyth, (9) Nau/Naw, (10) Das/Deg. Well maybe not all of them but it crazy some do. Anyone here could explain.

Hai and hain both have same meaning . The difference is in writing style in Devnagari script, I will suggest you to pronounce like " hai" , if you able to grasp it, then you doing a wonderful job. Please let me know if you need some help.

Hmm... When I went to Delhi last year, my little guidebook said "kya dam hai?" was the way to ask for how much something would be (mostly used with auto/rickshaw drivers). So what does that mean? "What is the price?", or what?
