How to use px22 on ps4 Videos

+peyton402492 I just found this at a local Walmart tonight for on clearance for $10. I am using it with some X12s and my PC. It works pretty good. Not too bad for cheap DAC.

Yeah Im an old timer and we look good for age : ) I been gaming since the late 80's and to tell the truth the old games from the NES like Contra Metroid MegaMan Kid Icarus Castlevania and Rygar to name a few; were good times. I also had the TurboGraphx 16 and its counterpart the Turbo Duo and there were alot of great games that most people probably don't know about.Modern games are cool but they don't have the charm and are not memorable like the oldies

+Pershan Parsard​ guess I'm an "old timer" too. If the 80 on your screenname is the year you were born, then I'm a year older. I just turned 36. Started with atari too. I don't have an iPhone either. I prefer android.

I'm not sure why it's not working @zRasko. Only thing I can think of is you either set it up wrong or it's defective. You also have to make sure your device settings are set to the turtlebeach. Make sure the optical cord part is plugged into the ps4. And the USB and smaller black cord plugged into the adapter.

+LezGrl79 Don't know if you can help me, But I just purchased this and set it up... I cant control any volume? It's super low and cant put it up or down... Can't use my bass and treble on PX22 either... PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!!

+LezGrl79 Hey nothing wrong with being an electronic geek, I mean I don't an Iphone but I had like every system since the days of ATARI, Im an Old Timer. +P Parsard wireless does have a USB dongle like you said. But the unit itself needs to have batteries. Or some might have a lithium battery that you have to charge like with a wireless controller. Since they're not standard batteries you can just replace. What I hate about wireless, especially headsets, is it you don't know it's dying you'll be cutting out and not even know it. The px22's have the long cord like I said. But you can also just plug it into the ps4 controller. Which won't sound good and you can't adjust the volume. You can also plug in your cellphone or an iPod to the controls and listen to music. If it's plugged into your phone you switch a button and can still hear everyone in a chat and the game, while also being able to talk on the phone. But then you do that it mutes you from the chat and only the people on the phone can hear you. I always had cheap headsets. But spending the money on the px22's was the best purchase I ever made on a headset. No regrets here... Sorry, I'm kind of an electronics geek lol

+LezGrl79 Great I didn't know the wireless used batteries and you made me feel at easeshould have known it was him :) That was what I hated about the 360 like the amount of money I wasted on batteries was insane, I thought the wireless had like a usb that transmit signals

+P Parsard had mine for over a year now with no issues. Maybe he's throwing them around or something. The px22 that I have are with a cord. I don't like wireless because it's costs a lot to keep replacing batteries. It's a long cord tho and can use them on my couch no problem.

+LezGrl79 Oh Im kinda cheap but I don't think I could just use one earpice. I hope the turtlebeach are more durable cause my nephew had two of them brake in a few months or maybe he broke them not sure

+P Parsard I paid $60 for my px22 and I love them. Was my first descent headset. Only used the camera or a headset with only one ear piece with a mic b4.

The ps4 has less connection options for sound unlike the ps3 model. So I was disappointed I had to get an adapter too. But I was glad I did... And I never played that game. Been playing destiny lately.

+LezGrl79 I am dissapointed to spend the $30+ for it but I had to do an investigation just to find out that this was a problem, well hopefully I will get it soon if my sis in law buys it for me :) I got the P11 for like $20 something off Amazon. +P Parsard my friend has the same headphones but doesn't have the adapter yet. She'll be getting one soon tho. I originally had the headphones on ps3 and they worked great but when I got for ps4 you couldn't adjust game and voice volume separate. But with the adapter you can and works great. I've never had complaints from friends and I hear everything perfectly. Game volume for every game was low until I got the adapter. Was worth the purchase.

+LezGrl79 ha ha I make mistakes all time writing post don't worry. I guess I have to definitely get one cause Im upset that I called and spoke to various people and they are like you need better headphones, I guess it doesnt matter though.

+P Parsard I haven't played that one. But so far I haven't had any issues with game volume. I shafts have to have it on low cuz it's way louder than chat volume goes.... I paid $44 for mine. But u think it's normally $34. can probably get cheaper on Amazon or eBay.

Just got my kit in today and I use the turtlebeach px22. B4 the adapter I had all things turned up all the way because you couldn't adjust ingame volume that well. Like you said, it was very low. So I set it up and almost blew my eardrums lol. So yes, the volume does get a lot higher. Also the instructions to set it up are wrong in the instruction manual. They say plug in the green cable to the adapter and a cord from the headset box thing into your controller. That's completely wrong as you can't plug in the green cord. And if you also plug it into your controller you get static and lots of feedback. The USB cord you normally had plugged into the ps4 has a black cord with it also. That black cord goes into the adapter and also the USB. And your headset cord goes into that box thing like normal. You don't plug it into your controller at all.
