+Jyotirmoy Deb The first time it takes a few days despite what they told me on the phone. It's not like that was a fake phone call. Just because you had a certain experience doesn't mean others had the same experience as you. Just look up their reviews online and you will see a ton of people having the exact same experience as me.

Great info, as I tried them and had the very same problem, good to know how they really are. anyone or company that lies to me is the last time I ever use them or have any dealings with them. I also got a new update from my paypal account telling me that they are in the process of buying xoom so maybe things will change for the better?

Me and my wife have used xoom for the last 4 or 5 years. I do all transactions online and they are available for pickup as soon as I click send. So much cheaper than WUnion too. I hope we are the rule not the exception!!!!!

That very cheap. WU charged me around 40.00 in 2008 to send around 2000...so i never tried them again. Moneygram is my backup.Thanks for the info.

+Zebra74 If you use WU Pay, it is usually $2.99 plus a tax when the person gets the money so around $4-$5.

i used W union a few times...it NEVER cost me less than 10.00...BTW.. i transferred 2000.00 today...for 15.00 thru Xoom and it was ready for pickup instantly...sorry you have had trouble.

+Zebra74 Western Union would have been about $4 and Xoom was $8 so it is not cheaper.

Travis moneygram has been so awesome for me to transfer money you can veiw all your transactions also it tells you its available and also when picked up i can use my phone or computer to send at any time 24 7 western union was just a lil frustrating doing online,,money gram is batting 1000 for me quick and easy ,,also you can just click resend everytime you choose the same transaction,,

why did you plug in the other controller after setting up the bluetooth for the wireless one, do i need both controller for set up or just 1

only problem I ever had with Xoom is when my gf in PI closed her account and neglected to tell me in America. Xoom refunded me the money the same day

@JTRiXHD There is no reason to use this app on the Xoom as the xoom has the ability built in under Settings>Wireless & networks>Tethering and portable hotspots. The wireless tether app is more designed to share a device's 3g connection with other devices.

I have a Motorola Triumph. I got root and everything on it and have the Wireless Tethering app. I run it it works it connects to my Laptop or PC or iPad/iTouch/iPhone but the internet doesnt work. U cant browse. Please help.

@AdamPantola I do not have a non-3g version of the Xoom to test this on, however it does work fine with the Droid X on both of my 3G enabled Xooms. It doesn't work with my new Samsung Charge phone though which is a drag :(

@321tobie this should work with other Android phones as long as the phone is rooted, you can however tether without rooting if the phone supports bluetooth pairing using the native bluetooth tether profile on the Xoom

Just a note on this, the Wireless Tether app does require that your phone be rooted in order to work properly
