you have to go to Xbox settings and make sure you're on 720p or more, he forgot to mention that and that is CRUCIAL.

Thank you!! My girlfriend and I have been getting very frustrated with my Xbox because we did everything in the video but I hadn't changed the display settings on my Xbox. Note, it has to be changed on both profiles

The XBOX HDMI and component cables have a TV/HDTV switch right were you plug the cable into the back of the XBOX. 1. Make sure your cable is set to HDTV 2. Check your XBOX console setting and make sure you set the display to 1080i. Fixed our problem in 1 minute!

I can't stress this video's 3 years old and I don't even own an Xbox 360 anymore. I'm sorry I can't help more but hooking up an HDMI cord to make your TV HD isn't too hard

My daughter has 2 controllers one wireless and one that plugs in for her Xbox 360 I bought the HDMI cable hooked it up but she still can't get a split screen for 2 players she watched a video showing how to do it done what it said and still cant get 2 players what could be the problem

Make sure one of them has Xbox Live. Make sure the setting on your xbox and TV are HDMI. Sorry I'm not much more help I don't even play xbox 360 anymore come on ps4 now

Guys it does work I just tried it make sure you have an hd tv and an hd cord. then go to settings>console settings>hd settings > and click 720p. then it should work
