@TIMOTHYSAARINEN They do. But there can be snow year round and it can be VERY cold. Here's the park swimming rules: There is only one place where it is safe and legal to get down to the lake shore. It is the Cleetwood Cove Trail, which usually opens mid to late June. The trail is 1.1 miles long and drops nearly 700 feet down to the lake shore. Visitors are welcome to swim in the lake from the shoreline at the end of this trail.

I was there in like June-august 2010. I don't remember exactly when we went. I liked it up there but my body didn't like the elevation too much lol and nether did I. Long drive to get up there.

i stumbled upon this place a few years back while touring thru OR. i definitely felt a spiritual vibe there. a moving experience to be sure. great video! thx for sharing.

I fell in love with deep blue when I first saw that lake at 8 years old. On a good day it is a color you cannot imagine.
