Tessa,
I sent my video directly to the head coach of the equestrian team via
email. I ended up taking a gap year and re applying for this 2014 school
year. I edited this video and sent it to the new coach at Fresno State and
heard back from them immediately asking when I could come up for an
official visit. I actually have my newer video on youtube using a different
account. I edited out a few things and added a few more and I seemed to get
a good response from that.
Also, I would recommend taking each school's equestrian team questionnaire.
That is a good way for them to get to know you and for them to recognize
your name. Don't be afraid to be persistent and contact them first. They're
busy and there are a lot of riders out there that if you find a way to
stand out that will only help you.

Hello; I am looking into NCEA colleges, and I was wondering if you wouldn't
mind sharing a little bit more about how colleges received this video? Did
you go on to attending a division 1 school, and what kind of responses did
you get from the combination of your video and application?
