How to change zippo fluid Videos

Actually,you can.Many people may not know about this,but in the Vietnam War,the U.S. soldiers used to pour gasoline from their jeeps inside their lighters.This method didn't got popular because it is dangerous and can damage your lighter in a long-term.Also,once you use gasoline,you shall not put any other flammable liquids inside the Zippo until you remove and change the cotton inside it.Hope I've helped,good luck with your Zippos!

Anyone else's Zippo evaporate fuel within like a week? Mine needs refilling every week even though I don't use it much. 

honestly you can use any fluid that is combustible yes that means gasoline oils pretty much anything

The smoke you're seeing is essentially vaporized lamp oil. The vapor ignites easily, the liquid has a lower flash point, so it won't ignite when it's cool. Cool trick: light a candle, blow it out, you can light the smoke, and it will trail all the way down to the wick to re-ignite it.

Using charcoal lighter fluid is unsafe and damaging to the lighter. Instead, you should use naphthalene-based lighter fluid, like Zippo's lighter fluid, which is designed for optimum Zippo performance.

if you ever get a chance when you are down in Beddington go to the Zippo lighter museum. It is a little jewel box and the staff are the best. Case knives are gorgeous too. two thumbs up.

Wow... great safety displayed there.. Dripping lighter fluid while pouring, not wipe off after you done, Lighting the lighter right next to the lighter fluid can?? Apparently need to spend some time learning how to keep the camera in focus as well.

just use gasoline it works better than this zippo crap...

Is butane or the charcoal fluid good too?

Just bought zippo fluid 5bux in my local chunese guy cig shop i looked 4 this stuff 2day @ bunnings and couldn't find it in melb... where'd u buy it? 

most anything will work in a zippo, the only things to consider is how hot it burns and how clean it burns. dont use flammable oils like lantern oil bcuz the oil will leave residue and gunk it all up and then it wont work. now ANY lighter fliud will work, the main reason it didn't in the vid was that it was overfilled. after overfilling what happens is the chimney gets full of vapors and the main ingredient in fire is oxygen and with there being to much vapors, no air to light a fire
