to me it say An error has occurred preparing the patch. and it doesnt work i played warcraft but had to reinstal coz it was bugged and i couldnt get in the game so i reinstaled and now it tells me this when i thy to instal the patches any sugestions how to fix this>?

Works perfectly fine. Problem is that the patch is too old. Just download the new patch (/warcraft-126a-patch) and retry

my DotA is 1.24.4.6387 version (all i know it's the latest dota patch ever = 1.24e)... however, i've been trying to play either in Garena or Bnet, the problem is the same, there's ALWAYS "You Were Disconnected" message right before i pick any of available heroes. somebody please help me to fix this problem... BattleNet-technical support says that i got this troubleshoot because of my patch (1.24e) is different with others (1.24c) so we might get lost from the host. is that right??

when im trying to run the patch the following error comes up "An error has occurred preparing the patch. This problem can commonly be corrected by reinstalling the game and trying the update again. If this erroor repeats then contact Blizzard Support". I reinstalled the game but no luck.. plz help

@jayson277 yeah coz that download in the video is with all old patches... but the download link got messed up so i took the link from dota utilities just with 1.24E patch... if you or anyone wants the old patches too just PM and i will upload my switcher with all of them :))

its not working. :( it says: couldn't find warcraft in: the program won't work until it knows where Warcraft III is located. please select it manualy. Then restart wvs. i locate the downloaded version at C: program files/ warcraft III. but it doesn't work. damn! :(

SHIT THERES VIRUSES IN THAT FILE I THINK IT WAS PUT BY ANOTHER PERSON THOUGH A HACKER OR SOMETHING BUT IT'S A LOW KIND OF VIRUS IT'S NAME IS jKThAUD.dll SIGH...IT SLOWS DOWN YOUR COMPUTER JUST A TINY BIT THOUGH SO JUST A QUICK COMPUTER SCAN WOULD DO THE TRICK

@BalwegDavaoHitman ok so you need to tell wvs exactly where is warcraft 3... example c:program files/warcraft 3... or wherever it is in your PC... just tell wvs the main folder... and it should work.. after that just setup the patch and you are good to go

@Zionistsdid911 try taking the game from a friend by USB and then put it in your PC... download the switcher again and specify the correct path to the folder.. if that error comes again than i dont know what to do :S never happened to me...

@AzHEroTh95 technically yeah... with 1.24E you see hosts with older patches... and i think you can join them but cant actually play... try reinstalling warcraft 3 and install just 1.24E patch.. hope i helped :))

@donnille143 when you specify the folder dont just select the folder... select the warcraft III frozen throne.exe... the icon that you start the game of... that should work i think
