lol @ blaming the calls on Syracuse losing. The refs almost took sullinger completely out of the game in the first half with PHANTOM foul calls.Ohio State was just better. No excuses. Maybe making the shots you take could help you win a game. In retrospect, Syracuse was suspect all year. No one outside of Syracuse really believed they were a #1seed. They got exposed finally.

when the other team shoots 42 free throws, it CAN'T be all the other teams fault. C'mon man, be realistic. Refs decided the game, disgusting.

I agree, Marrone has hired an incredible staff of people to coach with him, people who are proven recruiters and I think all of us Orange faithful will be pleasantly surprised by how the team does next year, I predict 6-6 or 7-5 and a trip to a bowl game of some sort, only time will tell, apparently our schedule is very much similar to this year's we start with Northwestern and Akron at the Dome and then we go to Penn State

He won't turn out to be another Greg Robinson: 1. He is a 'Cuse grad, so he is much more enthusiastic about being 'Cuse's coach. 2. He has put together a very good staff. 3. Robinson wasn't a great recruiter. Marrone IS a very good recruiter. 4. Robinson was a little soft. Marrone is much more fiery and will make sure his team comes to battle every game.

Syracuse DT Arthur Jones is going to be the best DT, and maybe, the best DL, in CFB in 2009. I say he will be up for several awards, go high in the NFL Draft, and be a beast in the pros.

Yes, Syracuse was a much worse team. But they won this game fair and square. You have to give them credit. They outhustled Notre Dame down the stretch and wouldn't quit.

My prediction is that Marrone is going to turn out to be the best hire for Syracuse since Jim Boeheim about 30 years ago.
