I just love hearing her communicate. Her voice is so soothing, and demeanour so open and honest without being arrogant. All with just a hint of that laconic humour underneath. Oh, Joyce.

God I WISH. I took French at GCSE, but I barely scraped a D. French is the language I'm most familiar with, but I'd need a LOT of studying before I'd be able to read in it.

Tbh I've barely read enough to form an opinion, considering how many books he's written. I've read Carrie, Dreamcatcher, a couple of his short stories, and On Writing, which I really did like. So far, what I have read of his, I've enjoyed. :)
