@ Jonathan Collins - Thank you for your comments, for you have caused me to do a lot of thinking and consolidating my thoughts about the great and commonly accepted sin of NATIONAL PRIDE which is so often preached and taught from the pulpit - and believed by nearly all of the 'non-Berean' 'church goers' - that NATIONAL PRIDE is actually idolatry and is one of the major sins of the last of the Seven Biblical churches - Laodicea. 9/11 was a GOD given warning to 'Amerika' to repent and turn away from one of our great sins of NATIONAL PRIDE - YET now there are fewer people even attending church - than there were before 9/11. - AND now there are fewer Biblically sound Pastors and Teachers (Amos 8:11-14) - than there were before 9/11. - AND now there are many fewer people that are even willing to listen to what "the word of the LORD" actually says - than there were before 9/11The following verse seems to me to be most appropriate to many of the 'Amerikans' now that claim to be 'christians':"In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes."(Judges 21:25 [KJV])It is written in "the word of the LORD":"The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate."(Prov 8:13 [KJV])Most 'Amerikans' are quite lost in NATIONAL PRIDE and ARROGANCE - instead of serving "the Lord God Almighty" Biblically, "acceptably with reverence and godly fear"!!! - AND 'Amerika' HAS NOT repented of the common and acceptable massive NATIONAL PRIDE and ARROGANCE - AND why should we? I hear what you mean, i know that through my conviction by the Holy Ghost, that two things were revealed to me after I repented. The truth of national pride as idolatry and the church of the seven I belong to. Dr. Chuck Missler said at the end of one of his sermons that our King is coming back, and that we need to pledge allegiance only to Him.
