+James Hopkins Lovins is an idiot then. The word Hypercar was very rare 15 years ago, but its been around since the Mclaren F1. Although that was more commonly referred to as a supercar since no one really knew what a hypercar is. The veyron though is 10 years old and was always referred to as a hypercar. in 2010 the word was already extremely popular.

+James Hopkins Koenigsegg is way more of a hypercar than the P1 or 918. Its a bit older so its slower but that doesnt mean its not a hypercar. Remember even the ccx has a higher top speed than the 918 laferarri and P1.

They design pieces of metal and carbon fiber, you don't need a super-expensive monitor for that kind of work.
