Ned Miller - From A Jack To A King 1963 Philips -- 318 882 PF.wmv
enry Ned Miller (born April 12, 1925, Rains, Carbon County, Utah)[2] is an American country music artist. Active as a recording artist from 1956 to 1970, he is ...
I was nine years old when this was a hit in 1963. I was always a music
crazy kid. And still am even in my sixties. For some reason I always
remember this song as one of those that got most plays that year on the
radio I was always listening too. And suddenly tonight I remembered it
again, and am so glad to find it here. Thanks for sharing this memory of a
time long gone by.
Ned's first release was in 1957 and then he re-released it again in 1962 as
a crossover-hit. Many rock and roll radio stations back then, even played
it as an oldie goldie. I remember in 1963 when I first started in rock and
roll radio, playing this "classic"... The mix back then was pure and
simple, so the song stayed uncluttered and has gained a popularity through
the decades....
It sold over two million copies by July 1963, and was awarded a gold disc.

I think albums number 1, 2 and 3 were all classic masterpieces. Every
single song on every single album was a journey. This album was much more
pop than the first two, but it was still an amazing record. Thank you for
posting it
+Robert Bowen Perfect observation there. Not a dud in the bunch! I always thought Gama was way futuristic and so way ahead of their time. Super unique blend of blues vocals, guitar riffs and synth prowess! Everyone did their part spot on. One of a kind!
+Robert Bowen You're right there is more of a pop sound but Mobile Devotion is one of the sickest tracks they every recorded. And Condition Yellow is just f*cking ridiculous.
I bought this album on cassette in November of '82 while going to college
in N. Cal. I never played any album as much as I did this one. Every track
a winner. I especially remember the tunes when I would be driving the
distance from school and home. Just something about it still hangs with me
33 years later. Still have the cassette too.
Rock On!
+John McVicar Same here. Except during high school, and during my AM paper route! Probably the most played album I had in the 1980s. Until Brothers in Arms. They stand as equals, musically, in my book.
thanks for the flashback and like Frank Marino ,Robin Trower, Rory
Gallagher and so many under rated legends the fact that we are still
seeking them out and sharing the wealth as fans we all give props, credit
,tribute,or whatever you may call it that means more to an artist than any
award I mean how cool is it to find a tune that takes you back so
completely that your singing it like it never really left it was just
tucked away waiting to spin...VIVA LA VINYL
thanxxx for all the listeners out there keep checkjn in as I get more of the collection converted I will add them to the library and I do not own the rights to the music you will hear I am only a fan of great music
With disc I suppose you mean CD ? Now, whatever shape, why don't you try to Google GEMM, the Global Electronic Music Marketplace. Not everything is there, but it is a meeting point for thousands of sellers. Of course that means you'll have to throw in some buck for the shipping costs, but as one say in French, and they're supposed to be experts, when one loves one doesn't count...
Download it off of youtube then split the file using music file splitter which will reference data for songs to split song if you download whole thing. Or just download each song. Be sure to use MP4 format to download or you'll have to convert files. Then...burn to CD. Walla!
Don Felder - Bad Girls
From his 1983 album "Airborne" From //www.donfelderonline.com ""Plot" Summary: This is a pretty straightforward video. It opens with a flying guitar landing ...
+Noosic, Don himself, in his bio, said his vocals were a fail on this album. His voice has always been a source of concern. His guitar work, on the other hand, is untouchable.
+Andrew Gutierrez I'm sorry but are you a studio engineer or a producer? I heard the vocals just fine. Stop trying to impress people with your half-assed knowledge.
I agree with John Smith. I couldn't figure out why the women in the 80s
videos were so much more sexier then the scanks today. Its all the bullshit
tattoo's and piercings! And all the over done plastic surgery and boob
jobs.
+19fenderman60 To be fair, you probably came to sexual maturity during the late 70s/early 80s, which probably affected your taste in women.I expect that a man of your age in the 1980s would have found beehives hot, and thought that the girls from this video were outrageous.I was born in the late 80's so to me it looks like they are trying to dress slutty, but in an extremely conservative way!
+leefitzwater Pretty much like every "hot girl" in every 80s video.  Tawny Kitaen (Whitesnake), Stephanie Seymour (Guns N Roses), etc.  Madonna is pushing 60 now too. Insert any 80s female singer that is still around. Debbie Harry (Blondie)...
+leefitzwater I`d still run a knuckle thru the hairy part of their guts.
Tycoon such a woman 1979 video popclips
Tycoon was an American rock band from New York City, on Arista Records. "Such a Woman" Top 40 hit single in 1979, "Such a Woman" (U.S. Billboard Hot 100 ...
Cool to see this clip! I'm quite sure they were lip synching to the record
(which means I was the guitarist you hear). But on camera was the original
touring lineup of Tycoon, which means that two guys are on camera who are
not mentioned in the paragraph above: John Putnam - Guitar, and Ray
Agcaoili - Drums.
Mark Rivera (Sax) was responsible for the great sax solo on Foreigner's
song "Urgent" sorry that Norman passed away. We need some website that
let's us know how our older rockers are doing. I understand that The
Knack's lead singer Doug Fieger died a few years ago too.
