i think if i never heard metallica or even hetfield sing i dont think i would be as into music as i am today. because of him i actually have an interest in getting into music like playing guitar and singing. Go Metallica!

metallica transformed from garage band to big freaking icon & they transform themself into professional artist (decipline, matured) as they grow older, thats what we want from an artist, not ego maniac!

3 years of struggling for any band is less then average for most successful bands other then The Beatles and Zep who were almost instantly successful. I like the Robinson Crusoe analogy,lol

i love thois notion of Metallica "struggling for years",lol. RTL went gold, MOP went platinum and they opened arenas, AJFA debuted at 6 and they were headlining arenas.

Yeah, I had another tab open when the video started so I didnt see the video and i thought it was an interview from 2006-2012 or something. Hasn't changed a bit.

People say he has changed so much since he stopped drinking. Someone ought to show those people this vid and they'll see that he in fact is the exact same guy.
