I own one, the recoil is highly over exaggerated by alot of people, it is fine for weapon of that caliber, sure its not an AR, but that's why you buy it in the first place ;)

Don't really like this idea, seems like its going to make the paragon main stat issue a lot worse and besides, they really need to sort the legendary gem system out. It would be nice if you had a UI for the gems that stayed at there rank and become account bound. An example of this would be if you had a rank 65 bane of the trapped gem it should be available to all characters across your account letting you make a copy of the gem from the UI. (A similar approach to how the cube currently works once you have cubed the item or in this case leveled the gem that should be it). Its so annoying having to level the same gems up over, and over again for alts and other builds that you want to try out!

+newdefsys That's what I meant. You are familiar with it. About 33 years ago I bought an H & K with that and have put thousands of 308 rounds through it. Accurate and just such a nice system. it is however a bugger to keep clean with the roller lock delayed blow back action.

+Alex McGruer Do you mean polygonal rifling ? It would be a nice feature, but, the current barrels are also very nice. PTR uses Green Mountain's 'RX' line of barrels which are button rifled, stress relieved and air gauged to 0.0002", It's GMRB's premium barrel.

For a DMR weapon you might want to consider going with the wide handguard and the associated bipod. I've been extremely happy with mine.

+Richard Mosely I did just that, (POF wide o/d hand guard with POF light bipod. But, the bipod is too tall for me. So eventually, I'm going to switch to an aluminum hand guard with rails and place a telescopic bipod on it. .

+Towermice well I do agree the awp is quite unbalanced before the nerf. People with enough experience with the awp could peek and shoot within miliseconds without too much risk. Now with the balance change and the reduced movement speed put onto it. It just makes the awp harder, on top of that it costs 4.75k each. So, it isn't that imbalanced or easy as you might say..

Update: Blizzard nerfed the 2 piece of shadows mantle. This build does still work, but I need to test it. Best case it's a massive damage decrease. Back to the drawing board for builds. i think shadow set 2pc shadow dmg of 1000% is additive whereas M6 6 pc bonus is multiplicative.

+Vincent Jack it doesnt work 400%*400% doesnt equal 1600% bonus with 2 sentries, the proper bonus is 800%, so weapon damage+modifiers*set bonus, the 2pc gives a more static bonus than the 6pc marauder and requires less setup. so its either have 4pc/4pc or 2pc/4pc and a random item, straight marauders wont be as effective

+silus1907 Each sentry does 1000% more damage. They are different sources of damage and the 2 piece reads all damage. So 5000 > 2000
