Y'all do realize that these are the same car right? G8 is a 2008 Commodore and the 2014 SS is a 2013 commodore. Open the hoods and they're identical. You can even interchange the doors. The 2013 model has more gadgets and a light weight bonnet and boot (hood and trunk). They're both made at GM's Holden plant in Adelaide.

They're both Commodores from GM's Holden plant in Adelaide, the 2014 SS is the 2013 Commodore while the '08-'09 G8 is the '07 Commodore. Just the nose and tail and interiors are different but the doors and roofline are identical. You can swap the doors and front and rear windshields right over along with 95% of the suspension components. The only difference on the side of the cars is the shape of the false front fender vent.
