+Aj Pantherblack Actually the SS's curb weight is 3,975lbs whereas a G8 GXP weighs 4,050lbs.

Well I do believe that the SS weighs more due to all that"nice interior and gadgets" but I know its not faster then my MT GXP

I know a few folks with G8's. Great cars by all measures. I can say this however...the SS is faster, has a much nicer interior and far more luxury amenities.
