+trisha60 How stupid can ppl get! Did you all need Leslee Udwin's video to know what happened??? There are thousands of Jyothi Singhs around the world whose cases go unreported. No one cares. BBC doesn't care. CNN doesn't care and Leslee Udwin doesn't care. The only reason why they made a documentary about this case was because there was a large scale protests by both Indian MEN & women to change the laws which they succeeded in doing. BBC wants to ride on the popularity of this case and hence dispatches Leslee Udwin. Leslee turns this whole case upside down. Instead of appreciating those men who fought and faced the brunt of police batons and water cannons, she goes and gives a rapist a platform to express himself. Additionally she intentionally interviews the defense lawyers who will defend their client by default by stating that the girl is at fault. This is how defense lawyers work. So she intentionally interviews them so that she can now portray Indian men in a negative light. This works well for pushing the stereotypes. Douchebags like Leslee Udwin and BBC have now become the stars of this case. Those men and women who actually fought... well no one cares about them. Why can't ppl see what the real intention of this video is???????????????

don't blame the ban on this documentary on normal indian civilians the only reason why this documentary was banned is because of fucked up asshole politicians in fact there are millions of indians who are downloading this documentary illegally and commenting against the ban of this documentary on every youtube video related to this

is nobody outside india getting why was this doc ban it's not about the documentary itself that is being ban because it exposes the culture of rape in delhi but about the interview of one the rapist where he make propagator statements about the the dead victim and the ban is not a permanent one, final dissension will be taken by supreme-court it was just a stay order but as bbc air the doc with disregard to india law and sentiments of indian people it shows brits still thinks indian's is dirty skinned low life people about who's law they don't give a dammm thinking only there law and ways .there r also some legal issues1>.the 4 of the 5 rapist thou convicted and given death sentence 5th is a juvenile(17 yr 8 months) and he is the one who showed most barbarity to the victim this has open up a whole new debate that if u r old enough to rape r u still too young to tried as juvenile (a large no of people also want's death sentence for rape case to start from 16 yr and it is very strong view in majority of people as a large no of rape cases r caused by juvenile of 17 ys old but is not just possible for govt to pass such law as it break international set stranded of juvenile justice system. it is not a legal cause but most sensitive one  )   2.>the name and photo of the victim is disclosed as the case is still undergo it is illegal (thou she is dead it is still illegal a bullshit law needed to be change not break)3.>permission was given to make the documentary for non commercial use only as it is aired on a british privet network it is pure betial of trust                                                        being said that nice doc i watched it if u want to watch it it's on youtube but i don't see a next doc by a bbc on india until brits start showing respect for indian law and indian's                                                                                                               we r not trying to hide rape's in india but opposite to that many doc on many rape cases and status of women has been made in india since 2012  and for respect when this incident happend face less protest were held through out india for weeks  in a scale and intensity that u will not not find in any part of of the world specially for women rights those protest were not just for this case but also women rights .since those protest huge and monumental changes have followed but india is a big system it takes time to change those protest brought long overdue changes in law and discussion in socity                                                                                             in conclusion i would say the ban was not imposed by govt on its on just to protect the image of india as u would think but because of public outrage over the trailer of the doc where this inhumane shit-head rapist remorselessly blame the victim for her rape and said she would not have died if she wound not have fought using this kind of comments on her as a selling point really hurt the sentiments at least of my spicily if u consider the place she holds is young india it a face for indian women struggle for equality .i know its hard for u to understand this things and easy to just to think that we don't want this to air to stop women rights but it not the case most of people want this to be air but pure insensitivity of the makers towards victim (and i mean using those,really  statements for her just for shock value just  to increase TRP   )
