How to view broken images Videos

I got the plug for the mouse n I got the data cable too witch by the way they are different connections... When I plug the otg adaptor to the charge port n then connect wired mouse to other side of otg adaptor I go n connect hdmi data wire to the data port n tv (hdmi port) I see what is on the phone but MOUSE JUST DON'T WORK. PS: You sayat the end u unplug the mouse n then take data cable to plug in charger but it don't fit...

I need to do this for my note 3! I'm confused what I need to buy..can you provide links? The only cable I have is the one to connect it to the computer. Which cables do I need? My screen is cracked but it turns on. They gave me a replacement phone but I want my pictures off! 

I'm amazed at how simple you make it look! My husband's Galaxy S5 had a run in with a track loader (construction equipment) today. Messages and emails coming through, but no screen function. For the S5, does he need some kind of MHL adapter for the HDMI? We have a usb mouse. and a regular HDMI cable. Wondering what additional cables/adapters we need to get so we can recover the info in his text messages off his business phone. Has important business contact information in it. Your help is greatly appreciated! Samsung nor Verizon were much help at all. Basically said since the screen wasn't working that it wasn't possible.
