Pretty much sums it all up :) But, the 2nd shot are usually pretty accurate to, so i would say at medium range if you miss the first shot, you can try for a quick follow up shot, but if that also misses, it's better to wait untill the spread has reset ^^

that works :) I mena it depends on playstyle and lots of other factores but if you treat it like and ak and use the scope at long range as you said you definitely using it to the max potential imo ;)

Yes thats true the eh ja the better gun but it can cost enough to put a burden on your economy also, having the scope will make some people develop a bad habit for aiming :P

Heres an interesting fact about the 338 recon. Its ADS time is 1.1 seconds while all the other snipers ADS times are 1.5 seconds. The ADS of the 338 Recon is also very smooth so with that being said it is the best sniper for quick kills or quick scoping.

I used to love the M98Baller, but since I started searching through Symthic to find the best aggressive recon rifle after changing my playstyle, I saw this gun. And damn, is it a BEAST. The only sniper to beat me in combat from any distance (depending on my setup) was the SRR 61 because of it's monster long range capabilities. 338 is way better than the Scout Elite IMO.

Well, now the M40a5 is because of the bullet velocity change in the new patch, but still, I just like the feel of my .338 Recon. IMO, stats do not matter when the rifles are so closely related statwise (5 round mag, fast bolt chambering speed, etc.).

Is the JNG-90 good? I just unlocked it and I think I'm close to getting it. Should I keep the JNG-90 or get the 338 Recon?

LMAO, the JNG-90 is my favorite rifle because 90% of the targets you will see in BF4 are moving, and it takes much less compensation to hit them.
