Paul, I say Merry Christmas and I will always say Merry Christmas with a Warm Heart and A Smile even when someone tells me Happy Holidays, and I make sure I express what I am trying to say to them. I stretch it out. You know, I remember several years back I was watching the weather man on a station here, and to my knowledge, he is A Christian. I heard him say Happy Holidays over the air and I was shocked and rather disappointed in him. He compromised because of his job, instead of taking A Stand, and trusting God. That was several years ago even. Wait till they stand before God, you know God is going to tell them He never knew them. I say Merry Christmas World, and truly A MERRY CHRISTMAS TO all my True Brothers and Sisters Everywhere. May God Bless and keep you Strong, Paul.

hey brother Paul when I lived in New York you are absolutely right nobody said Merry Christmas it was happy holidays ever since I moved to Florida that is my first year down in Florida for Christmas and a very large majority of the people down here still say Merry Christmas praise the Lord I don't know why but it's great we actually play Christian music and restaurants - which is absolutely baffling to me I love it when I get done paying in a restaurant and gas station where ever I always tell people to have a blessed day and many people say the same thing right back to you have a blessed day I really think that it's the states that don't have such an influence of liberalism in it where people actually have the nerve to say what they want to do what they want and not conform to what everybody else saying don't get me wrong people do still conform but a majority of them are still doing what they want to do really like the new trend you going with on this channel what's the news need to get out and we know that the Obama control liberal media will have no part in getting out truth in News

Plutocrats and their cronies, like Bill, always view wage earners as lazy dog prostitutes, however they are most eager to exploit their labor.

+Tiberius Constantine No, I don't hate rich people any more than I hate people in general.  No, I don't like freakin' poor people.  I do not consider myself rich nor poor.  Even tho I loathe most people, I do believe that I understand them quite well.  Yes, I love to wave the red, white and blue and boast that this is the best country ever !!  Buy, let's get real.  Most immigrants were very disappointed once they experienced America first hand. This you will not find in your searches, as most immigrants were smart enough not to tell natural born citizens about their disappointment.  Most of these immigrants were too proud to admit their disappoint to their relations back home.//www.eyewitnesstohistory.com/snpim2.htm the above link has the following paragraph about their disappointment of America:Many found it very difficult to accept. An old Italian saying summed up the disillusionment felt by many: "I came to America because I heard the streets were paved with gold. When I got here, found out three things: First, the streets weren't paved with gold; second, they weren't paved at all: and third, I was expected to pave them." In spite of the difficulties, few gave up and returned home.My father side were here for the first US census.  They resided in Maryland.  I don't know if they were English, Irish, or Danish or what, nor do I care. You are correct that the "official" classical view of the Government was/is that it values the American wage Earner.  I'm talking Government and the Plutocrats that have always controlled the Government, not the masses of American citizens.

+OldRangeRat  You sure it's not just hatred of rich people?I mean, I don't think that traditionally, that has been the classical American view.Unlike Russia and other parts of the world, Americans have considered raising to the top better than lowering those who are already there. At least that's my impression.

+Publius Valerius Right, like the 1% would really have to work hard at spending their wealth before they die - while the working poor work themselves to death trying to live.  Read about turn of the 20th century Russia and the USA under Teddy Roosevelt.  Then compare Russia of that time era to the present USA.The 50's and 60's were a fluke, the plutocrats started the correction in 1963 by lowering the import tariffs.Open your mind and eyes, you have drunken too much US plutocratic propaganda.

+OldRangeRat Third one of your types I've encountered recently... they must've sent out a new memo. First of all, a scab is someone who comes in after a bunch of union thugs have an illegal strike who decides they'll move in at great peril to their own safety in order to stop the company from bleeding money. You don't want to work for less, shut up and go home. You get paid what you produce, period. If your cartel manages to jack up your wages by loading up benefits on the back end, pensions, etc., don't be surprised when your company goes tits up and everyone is wondering why they're getting pink slipped and the company's pension fund is bone dry. Better a scab than a parasite.
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-RveWTgEXETM/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAABY/OFc8uRvLXe0/photo.jpg?sz=64
+John McClane Really,I'll have to take another look at the video's resources.  As I remember it was a story about the good service he received at the post office.  This is the first and ONLY time that I have ever seen Bill compliment any wage earner.  AND I have watched a least a GROSS of his videos. So, you work as a SCAB???  You must be one of the brown nose slackers that management keeps after a strike?   You are not only delusional, you are plain ass stupid.  Ronald Reagan, and Father and Son Bush's, the Koch Brothers, Waltons and the like, have taken us over the last 30 years to the same destination as the former USSR.Wake up and smell their great dung !
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-9flFFWf7cGU/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAFo/UFtvv8YpZiI/photo.jpg?sz=64
Huh?... did you even watch this video. He speaks about the importance of the individual, and it's very well documented with hours of video that Bill views wage earners as quite the opposite of lazy dogs, as high caliber individuals.I've worked some pretty shitty jobs my friend, very shitty jobs, for some very low wages. I gotta say the only way I could have ever had my labor exploited is if I didn't get payed for it. I always got paid though. Only way I can imagine anyone seeing it another way is if they're a lazy sniveling hipster, with no working knowledge of economics or basic supply and demand.Grow the fuck up, and read a god damn book or something, instead of regurgitating the same old copy and paste left wing apologetic victim diarrhea we've heard time and time again. Saying it more, doesn't make it any less bullshit.Oh, and Yippee Ki Yay mother fucker.

The post office is the only institution specifically mentioned in the constitution as a provision that the government must maintain. Guess the founders knew what they were doing.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
Actually that's not true. The Constitution grants the government the power to designate postal roads. No part of the Constitution requires, nor specifically provides for, the existence of a government-run post office. And for most of the 18th and 19th centuries, the bulk of American mail was carried by private businesses, and postmaster positions were generally doled out as political favors (much like today). Lysander Spooner very nearly put the USPS out of business before Congress granted it a near-monopoly on 1st Class mail and shut him down.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
One thing to consider about the USPS: They don't have a monopoly and the people running it know very well that their next paycheck depends upon keeping their customers happy. You can always go to UPS, FedEx, DHL, or for that matter other companies can (and do) start up offering real competition to perform the same or nearly the same service. The interesting thing about DHL: It is owned by the German Post Office. That should speak volumes about what kind of competition exists in the package delivery market and how global it has become too.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+GlanderBrondurgOnce again, I said it applies to first-class mail. I'm not sure exactly how first-class mail is categorized, but that is the way the law was written.Clearly newspapers and phonebooks aren't first-class mail.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+John PryceI'll admit that I don't know much about this particular law you are referring to here, but how do you explain home newspaper delivery as well as delivery of telephone books and other similar things by commercial firms for prices cheaper than doing the same thing through the USPS?
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+GlanderBrondurgI didn't say you couldn't send letters via alternative post carriers. I said the law concerned how much they could charge. I actually think the lower limit is set to 6 times the current postage price by USPS. I'm also pretty sure there have been several such cases decided in USPS's favor.I've sent things through UPS and FedEx before, including letters (my professional licensing paperwork comes to mind), but they are legally required to charge substantially more than the Post Office.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
While you are technically correct, as a practical matter that legal restriction is meaningless.  Anybody can stick a letter in a FedEx envelope and get it delivered quicker than you can with the USPS... even if it is technically illegal as you are saying.  FedEx even has a warning about sending stuff like that, but they don't enforce the restriction and no semi-literate judge would dare set a precedent to enforce such a law. What I'm trying to say is that such a legal monopoly no longer really exists.  Furthermore, if you ask actual postal workers what they think the future of their organization will be, they acknowledge it is going to be as a delivery service for companies like Amazon and other internet companies and not so much with "first class mail", which even now is just a minor part of the USPS.The only real advantage that the USPS has is legal protection for its workers, as interfering with the mail is still a federal felony... something that isn't true of FedEx workers.  Well that and the fact that only the USPS can use the "official" mail boxes which are associated with your home.  That is why delivery companies like FedEx & UPS need to deliver things to your door instead of the mail box.  It hasn't been much of a real challenge though.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
They have a near-monopoly. Legally no one else is permitted to carry first-class mail without either charging MORE or else charging nothing at all. That remains in effect, and they would be out of business in a week if the legal protection they receive was dissolved.
