It's dragon scale armor you can get it from 100 smithing or if your a high enough level you can find it around the world.

It's in Yngol Barrow apparently. This quest is started by Birna who runs the oddments shop in Winterhold.

@QuantumArchi there's a button on the opposite side of the throne in the last room, it's for a later quest from the college of winterhold, I forget who gives it, you don't need to worry about going out that way if you are on the Helm quest though

@carfo I didn't read the book and got it on my first try. Their is always small hints by the stones, In this case, behind the whale is water. behind and infront the snake its alot of bushes and above the eagle their is a hole in the cave.

really didnt know that? i just went in there with a claw i got from that trader in winterhold (in case i needed it) and i was there and i look at the notes got bored dropped it and just change the pillars only 1 time and i got it no joke

heres a tip for people who cant find dragon claw or other problems go through the back drop a plate or bowl any item like that put up to gate and use wirlwind sprint its how i got in
