Recruiters are worthless and could even set you back a few steps in your carrier, I cant tell you how many times these vultures have harassed me day to day. In my carrier, I have never heard of a single success story from a recruiter. There are much better resources out there to find good tech jobs.

I for one, can tell you from experience that Tek Systems was there for me when I needed them. They got me real interviews and fantastic opportunities in a very competitive market. The recruiter took me to lunch and learned a lot about me, then fed me great options I'd not have gotten on my own.
