+RC Cave I built my own and even put a gimbal at the end and a monitor up top to see what i am filming - can't do both at once in my opinion .. which is why my camera sits on the ground!

+RC Cave You're welcome .. when I take pictures I use my S3 phone. I have been known to sit on the ground, lean to one side and twist and bend and lay on the rocks at times to get that loooowwwww down picture :)

+RC Cave there are MANY cheap tripods all of 4 or 6 inches high. You can find them in most shops, easy to carry around :) there are some with flexible legs, good for those uneven surfaces and lets face it, when do we ever find an even surface? :)
