I cant find bitlocker in my control panel, and my windows is activated, i don't understand why it isn't there. neither i can find gpedit.msc in Run. please help me.. :'(

+Daniel Sarker yes i was facing the same issue bro just try to c which windows ur using? windows 8.1 is ok but which version if single language then the bit locker is not avail for that try to update it at least to pro version GO TO SETTING>PC INFO there will be titel as windows edition below that you can see a option get more fetures with new edition click on it you will be asked a product key enter dis N6KXJ-P6YWY-4C92Q-J7BVB-R6XGM REMEMBER YOU CAN USE ONLY ONCE . let the process complete it will be taking hours to update then after that restart the system it will sho you changes taking place titel and its done then let meknow when your done

If anyone cannot find bit-locker on there system what you need to do is. Control panel System and security Add features to windows Enter product key and let it do its thing. You will then have bit-locker installed.

+Aaron Shiu I havent gotten it back to normal yet... Its still unactivated. If you use this method, then it means that you will get windows 8.1 pro with bitlocker, however it wont be activated. and there is no going back.... I dont advise this and I would suggest using a third party encrypter

Or did you use a KMS activator illegally for that?I have a legitimately activated Windows 8.1, if I use one of those keys (they do work), will it be activated? Do you think I can use my current key to activate the more features once I upgrade? Please tell me. Thanks.

+shaz omr Ok so, I think we got off on the wrong foot.. or comment. wutever. Im stuck with a computer on windows 8.1 pro without an activation key. I want to go back to normal windows 8.1 which I have the key for.  But I cant find any restore points. Can you help me with this? p.s that wasent neccesary   also, I was panicking when I wrote that, and it wasent too nice. Please dont be darude. :)
