I just put a Samsung 850 EVO 250gb SSD into my four year old Toshiba Satellite and the difference is amazing. I now have a spare 500gb 2.5" HDD which I am going to put into my PC as spare storage.

+Raffi Melkonian I have 4gb of RAM.  As for the rest - my AMD Athlon dual core runs at 2.3ghz and it has never had a problem or run slow.  Can you just swap from AMD to Intel without a new motherboard?  But my SSD has given everything a speed boost and it produces a lot less heat.  I upgraded from W7 to W10 and the only downside is my graphics card will not let me capture gaming video, just still pics.  So the SSD was my last roll of the dice before I get around to buying a more up to date laptop.

+Jonathan Peden How much RAM do you have? My laptop is about 3 yrs. old and thinking of changing the HDD to SSD, and upgrading the RAM to 8GB. I was thinking it might an AMD problem. Intel chips are faster.

The eurocom notebook looks EXACTLY like a Schenker XMG. Same ventilation grill, same touchpad with fingerprint reader, the keyboard is pushed down the same way, the same angles on the corners, same legs, same bottom ventilation shafts, same motherboard, same way to change a HDD, same place and holder for M.2, same dangling wires from the SIM slot. It's EXACTLY the same body. Is Eurocom the same company as Schenker? Are they buying props one from another? Or do they have some sort of supplier?

leuk en aardig , maar waarom heb je geen aarding bandje ivm statische storing(wat schade oplevert aan je laptop )dus niet correct gedaan . want een plastic cover is zelden aanwezig zoals hier aangegeven , dus een grote kans dat door statische elektriciteit de laptopbeschadigd

+Walter Winkel Wanneer je er een harde schijf op aansluit, heb je ze beide nodig om 'm van genoeg stroom te voorzien. Een SSD aan de kabel heeft in veel gevallen genoeg aan één USB-aansluiting.
