I can play Taken For a Fool by the Shins perfectly except for this chord! I just need about 10,000 more repetitions hitting this chord to feel comfortable I guess. #rocksmith

you have it backwards the biggest string is actually the 6th string and the opposite the 1st string. my hand is to small to play this...

you can also use your ring finger to bar the 3 strings on the 8th fret

Technically this chord is F#6th as the root is f# n there is a D# which is the 6th so..
