for any new tf2 players, delete the direct hit if you get it or have it, this guy doesn't know what he's talking about, the direct hit is garbage, as a soldier, you depend on splash damage to get multiple targets at a time, with the direct hit, you have to get them directly on.Don't waste your time watching these videos.Go watch a real tf2 player

Not really true. If you have a good aim and know you hit your target if your projectile just moved faster, direct hit would be a better choice. "It rewards players with more damage if they hit their shots directly"

All types of flare guns can be deflected by anther pyro that's why it's good to have a shotgun or a degreaser/flare gun load out for the fast switching to get the crit on the other pyro of you aim good and act fast

@tartanboro then get a mate or someone whos willing to let you kill em' loads for some achievements and then just get enough achievements for the milestones and wala, the unlockables... but the problem is it ruins yr KD if the person helping doesn't get any kills on u he wont exactly be happy unless if hes willing to let you ruin his KD (some achievements require a larger amount of people to do so try to avoid them)

also for those wondering: there are servers that can give you instant achievments. I did it only for the medic because it's way to difficult to do by yourself. But yeah, I think that certain achievements are just way to long to complete to get a weapon. I actually have one of every weapon so I'm set for life. (excluding hats and promotional shit)

Yeah well the backburner is good but i prefer the normal one. Axetinguisher is also good but i like the normal axe more. Mostly because having to ignite them first then hit them takes to long and can be a bit overwhelming in game if they are attacking you while your flaring or flaming them.

they have it almost ready they are having problems wiht the size of the ectra's they mad elike weapons new maps but adding that on to the orange box with 5 games on one disc it is going past teh limit the 360 has for game memory

Looks to me these Weapons and achievements were gained on an Acheivement Server lined with bots. not actually playing and earning them against people

correct. and the natascha does less damage than the regular minigun but slows someone down when they are getting hit. useful for scouts.

well a hundred for what for now 5 or so classes but there is about 10 though so it is better to pay 800 adn get them all for just that

I can't top it for pyro but i've been on achivment servers and been helping scouts get all weapons + snipers in sometimes 20minutes - nope i'm not joking when you and other put effort in sniper and scout and spy maybe are really easy to get! i think i got my weapon for pyro in about 3hrs in total (seperate servers on and off)

my record is lv95 lunch box (sandwich),and the 2nd is lv93 invisibility watch (dead ringer)U can get highr level items from "drops" only,so no lvl 15+ items from achievements,anyway,maybe higher level items will be stronger or better in the future.

Flare gun is for large(r) distances. Shotgun is meant for short distances. But you already have a flamethrower for short distances.

they should do the same thing get a certain # of acheivements than just buy it from the xbox marketplace for probably 800 points as a game-add on i heard u have to pay for it as a game add-on when they put it in the marketplace cmon its just plain un-fair u guys get it for free just paying little money for tf2 on the computer and we pay 60$ for the orange box on the 360(there is no single version for tf2 on 360you have to buy the orange box ) and we have to pay more money just for a game-add on

The backburner, belive it or not, takes more skill than the flamethrower, because with the flamethrower you can W+M1(+M2) and ran straight at them, with the backburner it takes skill and strategy to find an alternate path getting behind your enemys and burning them to a crisp, while there are some backburner noobs who say "I WISH THIS WUZ TEH FRONTBURNER CUZ I WOULD BE TEH PWN" I, for example use the backburner because pyro is an ambush class and the backburner is a perfect ambush/flanking wep

@darthdadam99 Valve has sold the Orange Box to consoles now. The 360 and PS3. Which I think is awesome since you can play it on your big screen TV, however there are some downsides which for some might not so bad. The 360 version doesn't get any weapons or level updates but does get graphic and glitches ones. The PS3 doesn't get any updates at all so its completely old school TF2 with all the fun glitches but no new weapons or levels. Some people don't like the new weapons and levels.

@darthadam99 Well if you have an Xbox 360 you might be in luck. I think I heard that at some point they will give all the items and levels to the 360 all at once but not on the PS3. They don't have any one working on the PS3 version and they have EA distributing it (not making it). They have not made it final that they will never have any of the new items and levels for PS3 but as of now its a "no". Valve isn't being too kind to the consoles, its kind of sad.

wait dude i bought tf2 like months ago,it didnt work for my pc(idky)and recently like a month ago i was able to play,so i played as a heavy with terrible lag..and i somehow got the force-a-nature and the flare gun when i died,and i didnt even get a kill..so im wondering how?i dont hack i dont know how to and tht was my first time playing tf2 not on the xbox 360

Who needs the backburner when you have CB and axestinguisher? That requires much more skill, and you still need to ambush people for the most part to get them by surprise to outdamage big classes like soldiers and heavies. The CB requires much more skill.

OK here is the scoop Valve will release every weapon, map etc. update on the 360 in 1 big update by the end of the year Although, MS is making them worth MS points (probably 800 MS points or 10 U.S. dollars)

They didn't make the Xbox so that people would get happy. They made it because they wanted money. The Xbox 360 is sold with great loss and one of the fetures to make up for that is Live.
