+Juana RodriguezWell, updating the game does download the characters' information onto the save file, which is why players without Mewtwo can fight players with Mewtwo online.But unless you pay for the license to actually use Mewtwo, you can't play him.

+Zachary Burley They're "DLC" characters, which means they are characters that were created and added to the roster long after the game was released. There's no in-game method to unlock them. You have to buy them with real money.

+Ulta KiJust got figured out but thanks anyway. It's weird, you have to access the eshop from your game then just going to the eshop in general on the wii u version

+Kaiju RyogunVA You have to first update to version 1.0.8 of Smash Bros (both versions). Then a notification for the DLC should be announced when you open up the game. Then go into the eshop in-game and purchase it from there. It's in the main menu and you have to press Y to go onto DLC + notifications menu. Then hit X to go into eShop and the DLC "should" be there. Also make sure your WiiU/3DS systems is up to date as well when you're doing this.

+MoonWolfX2 He wasn't completely different at all. He was a carbon copy with stronger, but slower moves. I agree, FALCO is the one that's too similar out of the three to Fox, but would you rather get an interesting and new character with a unique ability or another copy of a character that's slightly more different than the copy we already have of the character we already have.

+MoonWolfX2 Neither was snake and by that logic, as an "enemy" sonic shouldn't have even been close to this game. I love the fact that their adding cloud, and not another terrible clone like wolf. Like Master0fHytule said, we already have Falco for that, and we don't need anyone else. I'm really glad their adding Cloud and giving him such an interesting move set. I think the idea of unique traits for characters that Ryu started is going to become a thing for DLC characters, and I'm loving the idea. There's literally no way anyone can be unhappy with what was revealed here.
