If were not aloud to have a remainder, then put a DECIMAL after the number. so if it was 86 as the dividend, and 12 as the divisor, and there was two as a remainder, make 86 into 86.0. if you need more numbers add another 0 after the decimal. so instead of 7 R2, it would be 7.16 (And with a line over the six because it goes on forever) lol im in 6 grade and i can do this, but yet 30 year olds cannot. LOL

I never memorized my multiplication tables, and I never fully learned how to long devide....they taught me in 3 or 4th grade...and even though I didn't know, I still passed my state test. Math was alway my poor subject, but to make up for it, I always passed my reading tests with flying colors! Science was pretty easy and History was a no-brainer! :D

Holy sonofagun, words cannot express my gratitude here. I've been literally trying to figure out how to do long division since grd.5. I forgot how to do it and no ones explanation made any sense. This made PERFECT sense. A massive cheers to you and yours for this!

ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!!!!!! NO WAY!!!!!! In grade 4 they teach us division (in canada) Im in grade 6.... and i didnt know how to divide....ITS SO SIMPLE!!!! And just in time for EQAO!

You should've mentioned about moving in to the other side of a decimal point, instead of leaving a remainder.

Back in the day, if you child came back from school with lice, you'd run to the store, buy some Rid or Nix and after a quick shampoo, lice are gone. No problem!

There is another option that works great. Used it on both kids and adults in my family. It is hair gel. any thick hair gel will do. wash the hair, and then apply gel generously while the hair is wet. style it how you wish. keep using gel for about 2 weeks and the lice will be gone. The gel prevents the nits from attaching to the hair follicles.
