Not personal belief/moral system. Therefore, Congress shall make no law respecting a 'Church', or prohibiting the free exercise 'of churches'.You are confusing a church (establishment of religion) with religion. +Rebelaxe Six i agree that religion has no place in politics, that being said...what are you talking about? Where in the constitution does it make "clear" the separation from church and state? Last i checked, Thomas Jefferson's letter to a christian association has not been ratified by congress. The bill of rights was written in a way that prevents a national church. That is it. There is nothing prevented a leader's faith from guiding his decisions while in office.
