+Michael Dillon yes I've used it outside and I can still see it on the lowest brightness. but you can still change it with the menu button

+Reehan Perez 2 (SHMONEY) Are you saying its bright enough?the brightness can be made to look brighter there are settings for that?i just bought this camera 3 days ago and have not used it yet i think i got a great deal $225 plus 4 flex monthly payments of $60 to have it shipped with 120 day return policy with qvc including high quality canon case and memory card as extras....i plan on using it for my novice astronomy viewing of moon and larger planets like saturn and jupiture with its 4 moons...along with alot of outdoor use....i know it will take a while to get used to with practice...ill use a tripod for my astronomy viewing...is it rather stable even on say a 100x dig zoom?....please respond thank you i like to know your thoughts on the camera for the money.....they have exellent resale value i know for a fact when the time ever comes....even used i have seen these go for no less then $190 in mint cond being nearly 1 year old
